I love the bit where the ghost just throws up his hands.

I completely agree that Amber's alien form should have gotten a toy.

Shaggy falling in love with an alien is original. A beautiful and sad story. Both can't be together but will never forget each other. That's so tragic 😭

Of the four movies this one is my personal favorite. I do think Zombie Island is objectively the best, but this one did what no other one did for me. It made me cry, happy and cheer in ways I never did and really did good work with Shaggy and Scooby. It’s sweet and adorable and tragic.

Oh and I have Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase on both VHS and DVD, this was the last to be under the supervision of Bill Hanna and was served as executive producer before he died in 2001.

My headcanon is crystal was insisting that they'd only be friends was to cushion each other's own desires that they could be together. And good on Shaggy for taking it so well! ... also bruh you had me for a sec I WATCHED the movie but that blood spurt was convincing haha

It's amazing what can be achieved with a shoddy Photoshop on three frames of animation. 😄

I think it is possible to make a helicopter look like a UFO, I think the probing thing was just to scare them.

Why not? Maybe it's more for boys but I liked it when I was 8 and I got this VHS. This was one of my first VHS tapes with subtitles that helped me to learn to read!

Short answer: yes, not as awesome Zombie Island and Witches Ghost, but definitely one that makes me emotional. Probably my favorite Shaggy/Scooby centered movies next to Monsters Unleashed.

I watched the American tape a few times growing up. That pogo-stick Scooby ad is part of the trailer reel. It also has the _"return the slab"_ episode of Courage the Cowardly Dog after the movie, which is the main reason I'm able to remember having watched the tape as a kid.

Speaking of bonus cartoons, it appears that this tape has a bonus Scooby episode at the end of it. Weird how it didn't get mentioned here.

This film is alright, Scooby Doo on Zombie island, the witch"s ghost, the alien invaders is intresting and the cyber chase is good too, the monster of Mexico is alright and where's my mummy is average but aloha scooby doo is terrible so was the monster down under and the loch ness monster was awful. The live action films were pretty impressive.

The fact that you didn’t mention anything for Mary Kay Bergman, kinda upsetting. She was a great Daphne. Grey DeLisle is the best, but Mary Kay was amazing too. She prolly would have been my favorite if not Grey.

Was Cyber Chase not her last film? For some reason, I had it in my mind that Grey started voicing her with the vampire one. A mistake on my part, in that case, or I would have mentioned it.

@@BacktothePast she passed in 1999. That’s why the film was dedicated to her. Grey did Cyber Chase as tribute to her. And missed Monster of Mexico and Legend of the Vampire, because they wanted Heather North to reunite the remain original cast.
