I am a woman of 66 and I think sex is better when you get older. I could stroke my husband's hand in the kitchen and sparks would fly. Also much more laughter and less self-consciousness about one's body which is a paradox. When I was young every young woman was worried about how they looked etc. and the only thing that got both parties through was raging hormones. I am in full agreement with the young woman. My wife, however, was not and this was the end of a 23-year-old marriage. It hurt me so much to not be wanted. No passion, no warmth, and no sex. I am no prude. But as soon as the word 'dirty' comes up in a sexual context, often first suggested by the man, I get turned right off, though I know other women are turned on by the idea of 'dirty sex'. 75 and everything still works. My urologist says an active prostate is a healthier prostate. My partner wants to keep me going and going so I live longer and stay active.
