I didn’t know there was a limit to how much kombucha too drink and I was drinking it like water. I ended up getting light headed and telling everyone I felt drunk but I didn’t know why with diarreah (I know tmi) and found out it was the overdose of kombucha lol oooooops

The highest alcohol content kombucha can have is 2% (although most are usually around 0.5%-1%), so assuming the highest, to have 1 standard drink, you'd need to have 24oz of kombucha. Lets say you feel drunk at 2-3 standard drinks, so you had 48 oz-72oz of kombucha? That is about a half gallon. Theres no way this is true.

Myra Ahmad I didn’t say I was drunk it is unhealthy to drink kombucha everyday because you can get these symptoms from it, as my naturopath told me I didn’t say that had anything to do with the alcohol content I said I felt drunk because I was light headed. Thanks for your stats tho and your time.

yah not necessarily an overdose but with the amount of probiotic in kombucha drinking alot can certainly cause diarrhea. Never gotten lightheaded by kombuchas you couldve been dehydrated because of the diarrhea
