Didn't know the Field Museum was one of the biggest museums, very cool. My brother and his family got the city pass and went to all of the museums recently. They were super impressed with the quality of the exhibits.

Going to the Field Museum is like going to Six Flags, our feet hurt by the end. City pass is the best and glad they liked it! City Pass is something we are going to do for future cities we visit also.

I remember the penguins during lockdown!! Hard to beat anything penguin related 😂 great reviews. You are the master of voiceover recording. Your audio is amazing. As are your music choices. I was able to get Melissa a Penguin Experience for her birthday and she loved it!!! The compliment on the voiceover means so much because that was one thing I was working on so hard this year. Plus I probably don't do myself any favors by not scripting and doing it as I go. Museums, aquariums, and zoos are the hardest in my opinion since there so much different things. For 2022, I want to improve on my story telling and having a story within a story.

I'll say the natural History museum for me! I've always really enjoyed seeing animals in their natural habitat even as a young kid. Even though it can be very educational. I guess I would prefer a wildlife rehabilitation center over a zoo or an aquarium. Both of them look like they offer a lot of educational programs though!

We have never been to the field museum but always wanted to go. We love the aquarium. Oh my gosh those penguins out and about 🥺. We love the penguin show! It was by far Jonah’s favorite part. I love the stations at the Field Museum- that’s so cool. Jonah would really like the mummification portion. If you do go you should get the Chicago City Pass because it includes both of these places. We are lucky that we get in free for both places due to my work. For Melissa’s birthday I got her a Penguin Encounter and she loved it. Be safe driving and can’t wait to watch your next episode.

Shedd seems to be the consensus. They are both very popular but a few years ago, Shedd passed Field in number of people attended. Best part, when we go, it is free!!!

The aquarium has more people now per year but Field Museum does around 2 million also. We try to find the indoor places when it gets so cold. It was a late start to winter for us but it is -20 with windchill tomorrow.

I personally love both! Hard comparison! I think if there was a comparison between field museum vs the museum of science and industry! Thats a good discussion and then shedd aquarium vs a neighboring aquarium would be a good topic too!!

The comparison was from a top 2 attraction perspective. Most folks can only go to one or the other when they visit. But good point on doing those comparisons. I just wish I planned it better that way. We went to two places and that what it was. I get in free for work so we do a lot of videos here.

Thank you so much. This was the first comparison video I have. Since we have gone to Shedd and Field before, I figured this would be a good twist. My cousin was the one who pointed out the Michael Jackson thing, even the nose was dead on. When we meet with the kids, the "Let's Go Part" is a request we get a lot of. It would be an honor having little mister do it with me. I try to add a new element with each video (large or simple). This one was snowing indoors and it fit the season. I adore the natural history museums, i was always fascinated by them. In the same time, I adore aquariums, I love the underwater world! So very hard to choose! Loved the music a lot! The penguins are adorable!! mainly the little ones!! What a delight!! I might go to the North Pole just to see them :) I am that crazy I could even go! I love penguins so much so if I had to choose one to visit, I whould choose Shedd Aquarium. I would go out of my way to see Polar Express 4D at Christmas time too. Is it the entire movie in 4d or just shortened clips? Although, I like all the look of all the interactive learning opportunities at Field Museum. Penguins are the best! For my wife's birthday a couple years back, I got her the penguin experience and she got to pet one. Seems like Shedd is the winner if someone had to choose. The 4D movie was a 10 min edited version. Basically when the kids gets picked up, train ride to see Santa, and train ride back. Really well edited.

They edited the movie to basically just the train ride and seeing Santa and then going back. About a 10 min version of the movie. I'm a sucker for those 4D movies. It was better than the 4D movie I saw at the field before.
