Yes and no. Depends on what you are aiming for. If you still need dups for a specific 4* like Mortefi that skyrockets in power at later sequences or pulls for a new 5* its a really bad deal.

I bought her s2 from the shop. Never topped up before, just bp and monthly. Her s1 changes the whole feel of her kit, ult never runs out always get super intro, and it's massive aoe. S2 is just broken on every team in the game, so i figure what else could possibly be a better investment. No regrets

It depends on the DPS. Jiyan, for example, has mediocre nodes until S3, so for him, a S2 shorekeeper is better than S2 Jiyan. For other dps characters, there's a chance that their S2 would be more valuable, but that would only be on their teams, while an S2 Shorekeeper functions on every single team in the game.

S2 ShoreKeeper will almost always be the better bang for your buck cuz she buffs she entire team, as opposed to a single char getting a boost on their solo damage with their node, and not all nodes are made equal so it would depend entirely on the node.

Some insights i didn't even know since i currently only use 2 characters per tower. But my thoughts exactly on the S1. Unfortunately unlike the rest of my discord i was one of the 2 people that didn't get her in like 30-40 pulls. But i did win the 50/50 (first was guaranteed) and spludged 360 corals for the S2. Shorekeeper is obviously going to be with us for the long haul. And as a support she's VERY future proof. So i imagined getting her up and running early will benefit my account now instead of hitting me when i don't have the astrite anymore ;)

fantastic video...since the day she came out and I felt the sting of the stellarealm timing out mid XY Ultimate with 1 or 2 hypercubes up, all I could think was how big an UNDERSTATEMENT calling her S1 a "quality of life" buff was. You took things futher explaining the benefits in dual dps and how you can revert back to sub dps for extra buffs/dmg and I couldn't agree more. Good stuff man, as always!

If you're f2p or monthly spender and can comfortably get her to S2, then go for it. But for S1 specifically, just save for something else like s1 jihnsi or maybe camellya dupes down the line. if u play SK well enough as is, S0 ult should have 100% uptime with how ez it is to build 250% er. learn your rotations better and you can save for other chars/ sigs.

Her liberation healing is currently bug btw. It is supposed to heal on-field character every 3 seconds but, now, if you switch character or use echo, the timer will reset. Making her liberation not heal at all for quick swap teams. Kuro acknowledged this on CN side but didn't say anything on EN side.

If you’re willing to sacrifice another dps for better damage across all teams go for it Players who want to have all the characters and try out new teams do not favor going for sequences. You just don’t need them even at the highest difficulty. What players do need are more gacha boobs too look at s1 was well described in this video, if you like dual dps comps go for it. Verina is just a good alternative which is why most people aren’t obligated to get it.

It's a QoL that almost feel like a buff in the harder contents when you need to dodge a lot that really messes up your rotation. In easier contents, including the tower, the effect of S1 is not very significant.

As a F2P, I don't even think about sequences. I prefer having more characters (and their weapons) instead of making a character more stronger (and easier to play). I would gladly suffer to adjust my gameplay, rather than to have a sequence that makes the whole job easier. That's just my opinion though. As a person who was going for Changli's S1, I can really understand others going for sequences. At the end of the day, it all comes down to how you want to enjoy the game. For me, having team diversity and playing with different characters takes more precedence.

Shorekeeper heal also has bug. The realm states that it will heal the character every 3 sec but if you swap to another character before the 3 sec countdown, the 3 sec timer will also be reset. Rip quick swap team with shorekeeper.

Well for this cycle I managed to get my 30/30, even with S0 Shorekeeper Teams used with her were: Echoing Tower Floor 4: Lv 90 Shorekeeper with her sig weapon (HP/ER/-/HP/HP healing set, still no spectro 3cost, I used a placeholder atk% to not give me any relevant stat that may trick me on some performance I may lose when I get one) Lv 80 Mortefi with lv 40 cadenza (CR/Atk/Atk/Atk/Atk Er set) Lv 90 Xiangli Yao with his sig weapon (CDMG/Electro/Atk/Atk/Atk lingering tunes set) Hazard Tower Floor 1: Lv 90 Shorekeeper (same as above) Lv 90 Yinlin with Zhezhi's sig weapon (CRate/Electro/Electro/Atk/Atk ER set) Lv 90 Xiangli Yao (same as above) Timers were quite comfy for hazard tower, a little less for the other because Mortefi has unleveled weapon and frankenstein'd set with 4cost and 1costs from yinlin and 3costs with atk% instead of fusion dmg (er useless bc I always had his ult every time I swapped him in) Also pepelaugh at Zhezhi's sig, back then I saved my pulls and didn't pull for stringmaster, a little regret I have. Anyway yeah, often I only used 2 hypercubes to get enhanced intro, but it's still worth imo.

@@TheHitsukia I have tried it increased my Jihnsi's nuke by about 100k from 375k. It's a pretty massive buff however the rotation ends up longer, so Jihnsi is better off with Verina. However, on other DPS like Jiyan, Xy, and Changli, S2 Shorekeeper really does a lot.

There is a bug that shorekeeper unable to heal with quickswap team. Timer reset to 0 - 3 sec everytime player switch character. Thus the timer keep reseting and failed to heal anyone.

Yeah, I think im passing on Shorekeeper. Since I got Verina and Baizi to keep me running. I just going to go all in on Camellya. Multiple copies on her. I have about 350 corals, so I always got 1 copy already. I always tell people to save corals for copies... But I have seen some people buy pulls straight out.. To each of their own I guess. its just a guarintee with no 50/50.

I was lucky enough to get her S0, S1 and S2 (this one 30 pulls from 0 pity) winning 3 50/50 back to back without even spending in topups, just monthly and BP as i started with over 27k astrites to get S0 and S1 and after completing 1.3 content managed to get some 30 ish pulls 😎

this is a bait. for a good player you dont need extra 10 seconds. range is already big enough and only matters against certain bosses. and stellarealm not vanishing dont matter if your rotations are right. however the s2 is definitely strong.

I totally agree. With quick swap duo dps (for example XY and Changli) you finish rotation under 30s. Its just fine even with Jiyan/Mortefi too. S2 is another story...

The s1 are pretty meaningless imo. The range on all the hard mode nearly covered all the field anyway, the duration is no need too because you need to swap back to her to re-apply buffs anyway, the time you fill up the concerto, liberation skill is ready too. And her damage only come from intro so the buff when she on field is no need as well.

I thought the wording made it sound like the whole team gets the buff, is it because he is snapshotting his stats before the crit dmg buff triggers? or is the buff only given to the active character etc?

Short answer if you want, No her s1 is not worth getting if you have hands. If no hands yes its a good qol to get
