Great content! As a father of 3 daughters I was just made aware ( in the closing scene ) how comforting those face shields can be for a dad... 😉😉

Do all of the Canon mirrorless cameras have this? Reallywanting to upgrade to full frame and have been looking at 5d mk3 or 6d mk 1 or 2, but if even the budget lile the rp have this I may need to consider mirrorless

I love the channel! You guys are always so helpful. I have the m50 and I am struggling about upgrade to full frame and if I should pursue photography as a business. Any advice, or an awesome video, addressing this issue?

There are a couple of things that you need to think about with this. The M50 while it's a great camera is a small non-professional looking camera. So if you're asking someone to pay you for your services you do want to look as professional as possible. You also have to consider where you're going to be shooting. Are you going to be shooting indoors with natural light? If you are then you going to want a full frame sensor. If you're mostly going to be shooting outdoors or using flash the M50 will work. If you are thinking of doing some sort of family portraiture or something like that I think a full frame camera would not be a bad investment. If you don't have the money to go crazy with a camera body maybe put some more money into some full frame lenses and then eventually move into the full frame body. The bigger full frame lenses will give you a more professional looking setup. It really comes down to the images though and if you can produce very nice looking images with the M50 it really shouldn't matter. But in my experience people want to see professional gear when they are paying you.

@@BillEricPhotography We are on the same page. Even though I love the m50 and I have been producing great quality pictures with it, I always want to put the bigger sized lenses on to look more professional. Some have even mentioned the compact size of the camera which automatically makes me feel like they think the size reflects the images. I have explained to people.that the camera is small because it is a mirrorless camera and they seem to be alright with it. I appreciate the words of wisdom!

have you tried doing a longer exposure on fireworks but start off out of focus then focus to sharp during the exposure?, try it if you haven't, they look like flowers in the sky

you might want to make a vid on how to put the r5 and m50 into silent modes, not always easy for people to work out that when starting out. great vid. yes i agree there is something satisfying about the feeling of it in your hands....................:P

Yes thanks! We’re going to have a whole bunch of R5 videos coming soon!

@@BillEricPhotography with the M50 i'm not sure if you can use silent in fully manual mode? seems to be hidden in the scenes setting.

Banding seems to be an issue primarily with LED lights. I think the M50 can be fully silent in auto mode, but not sure about that.
@BillEricPhotography4 жыл бұрын
Yeah it’s the LED lights that are the issue. And they’re being used more and more.
