We lived in Singapore for 17 plus years. I was a professor at NUS Business School teaching accounting courses. We left in 2013 and have never looked back. The thing that drove me out is the lack of political freedom. It is a landscape dominated by PAP, which is a ruthless party that would use the court to drive every other political party into submission and ensures their success in the polls. The cost of living doesn't help either. But the lack of freedom is something this video does not allude to.
