Carl, you're the only snowmobile guy worth watching nowadays. Tons of information, knowledge and the humour. Your style of producing these instructional videos is like that of Larry Haun in carpentry/framing. Just sticks with you after.

Hey thanks, I appreciate that! We try to make it fun so folks don't fall asleep in the first few minutes😆

Is it just for weight reduction or is the geometry different than stock also ?
@CarlKusterMountainPark4 күн бұрын
It is largely a weight reduction, although there is a more "mellow" attack angle than stock.

Just in time for my build! Any trick for the front track shock upper mount to the front arm? With the limiter strap in there mine is extremely tight and doesn't quite have the clearance to get the bolt through - hoping to avoid having to grind the end of the shock down to make it fit 😐

What shocks? Should not need to grind anything down
@nilsnilsnilsify5 күн бұрын
@@f.j.b6542Fox floats, recommended models. The issue is tight clearance between the end of the shock when it’s mounted and the cross-member of the front arm. When the limiter strap is in there it’s too tight (or I’m not strong enough!) to get the shock eyelet in far enough to line up
@nilsnilsnilsify5 күн бұрын
Issue is either holes drilled in the wrong place (seems unlikely) or a little too much carbon wrapped around the cross-member so it’s thicker than expected

@@f.j.b6542 Shocks are Carbon Sled specs. Correct...no grinding necessary😎

@nilsnilsnilsify Perfect timing! the front arm/center shock bolt can be... Character building! lol If you let the air out of the main & Evol chamber it should help. The Dyneema strap will compress...slightly, the bolt... just fits in. You shouldn't have to grind anything. Good luck with build and have a rad season!😎 Reply

Curious if Canadians visualize dimensions in metric or imperial? Or both?
@HebbsT8005 күн бұрын
Both ! I started learning imperial in early grades then we switched to metric!

Both hahahah
