Yeah and it would allow you to unlock framerates and upscaling as Rafa said. So through upscaling, unlock framerates, testing OpenGL and Vulkan in some very demanding games could give some performance view which you wouldn't get otherwise. Winlator which emulates windows games on android could also be interesting for a demanding test. Otherwise for android games no idea which allows you to unlock framerate and is graphically demanding.

Realme and Xiaomi have been "fixing" benchmarks for marketing purposes by allowing their phones to operate at unoptimized rates. Therefore, these inflated scores should be viewed in context as unrealistic. However, only a few of us will actually use these benchmarks, and most apps will not be as demanding. From this, we learn that we shouldn't rely solely on benchmarks; instead, as this video demonstrates, we should focus on real-world usage. In that context, it becomes clear that the Snapdragon 8 Elite represents a significant improvement over the 4nm architecture. As a result, we can expect better battery life overall, lower temperatures for similar tasks, and enhanced performance when needed. So, although the S25U will keep 5000mAh batteries, we should see a healthy SOT improvement, and Samsung can save the adoption of a larger battery until the S26U, which will be a minor upgrade to the Snapdragon efficiency. Sensible business.

The new Elite was so good for power consumption that they didn't implement efficiency core and that's the problem, the 15 min gaming is not enough to to keep increasing the heat, the new elite will not stop powering the phone even if the chip is to hot, the phone it self will shout down him self, unlike the Gen 3 have efficiency core that usually work around 40 degree to cool down the phone, the Elite marketing idea basically it's to good that no need to use efficiency core, the daily use and task is good but for the long hours gaming will suffer

Both chipsets could run very hot, its just that some manufacturers tend to have extremely aggresive parameters to the governor of the SoC when their devices run benchmarks, ending with scenarios like this where the phone stops the app from running after reaching unresonable temperatures. With further improvments of the governor in this regard, maybe we can see the full potential of this chipset. While for now, its perfectelety noticeable that in real-life scenarios the 8 Elite is 30% more efficient than its predecesor, and also 40% more powerful.

@berlannerepoyo8380Ай бұрын
More power efficient does not mean that processor consumes less energy because efficiency is just the ratio of energy spent and work done. Manufacturers can claim that their cpu are more efficient while also increasing the wattage. For a better example is the thing with nvidia gpus where the increase in efficiency doesn't decrease power consumption because they also keep increasing the power consumption. So conclusion you can't say that a cpu is less efficient or more efficient by just measuring energy consumed or heat produced because that is misleading. Just say that the cpu or the phone itself has poor thermal management.

Play CarX Street. Only game that makes both my OnePlus 12 and Pad 2 get warm. Genshin Impact doesn't. A simple update could solve the elite's heating issue

Benchmarks arent reflective of real life usage. Benchmarks have always been done in the pretense of testing a device to its maximum capacity which isnt what you are doing 24/7. Calm down people
