A7 cii is the reduced better version...cheap...con is 1 sd card slot and 4000 shutter speed in mechanical 8000in electronic though

I have a7rv, a9iii, a7iv, and a7iii... my a7iii was great for the first couple years.. now i use it as a lens holder lol.. i use a7r5 for the resolution, the a7iv, just as a secondary lens angle, and i use my a9iii for video

Quick answer: If shoot video: Yes If you shoot only photos: Nope

So i need to find another brand if they too are making the grip as uncomfortable as the canon r models , it is easier to thirdparty a small grip to what you need but its a real pain if your hands are small and its too big , the iii had the perfect grip my r7 was a money waste since i can’t use it in any way comfortably.

4K60 crop is a no go for me…but to each their own

that does sound awful on paper, but there are so many nice apsc lenses for E mount. The sigma 16 1.4 pops to mind or the 10-18 for even wider stuff. If you're shooting on the longer end the extra reach even helps. Sounds like a cope, but in real life that crop isn't that big of a deal :) edit: almost forgot the sigma 18-35 1.8 I consider the A7IV an extremely good apsc video camera that can be set to full frame when needed.

As someone who has the a7iv and got a a7siii as a secondary, I find myself actually enjoying the crop and using it a ton. I go for it frequently to get extra range on my lenses and I really don’t notice much of a difference in background blur anyways. To each their own. The native ISO’s on the a7iv are also far better than the a7siii

I see this all the time but never felt 4k60 being a handicap, I mean sometimes i go into super35 mode when shooting 24,30,120 in certain situations for extra reach. You guys just complain about everything 😂😂

Bad ass camera, blows the 3 away in every way. I use both and die a bit when I have to use the three. Thank you for posting this.
