Such a coincidence, I also went back to HD today. I got a hell win on my first attempt. xD Spelunky 2 certainly sharpened our skills.

My first experience with spelunky was finding the spelunky hd demo on ps4, i installed it and played it for litterly hours and i had so much fun because i never played a game like it. Later i completely forgot about spelunky and then spelunky 2 released and i was like "ooooh i should buy it"

The difficulty is perfectly tuned, IMO. Music and artstyle are flawless as well, unlike the sequel

It's crazy because aside from me and speedrunners at 7:11 no one notices the black market. And I've started noticing the difference at 2014 and up 7 years after my birthdate I was only 7 and I beaten spelunky hd at least 70 times on my xbox 360 but my mom ended up forcing me to give it away to me nice and nephew only for them to break the console. This is why I don't like giving stuff away to my niece and nephews. They always be breakin.

The arrows are so much faster in HD, also the timing with the whip is more difficult, thus it’s easier to whip arrows in 2

@@nahaarmirza379 It's probably because of practice, I played a load of HD first and got used to it, now with the quicker whip hitbox in two, I can't seem to do it as well.
