I am using Starlink about 1.5 year in Ukraine. And it works great. And you can convert it into RV-version yourself.

We have looked into the RV diy, we might do it one day. For now the set up as it is works for us

Its megabits per second, not megabytes. 8 bits in a byte.

Remember to turn off Starlink "snow melt" in the App. I run a small 375W inverter when running just the Starlink as the run current is less than 1/3rd over using the big 3000W inverter. Enjoy your travels.

Its easier to just keep on with mbps and who gives a $h!t anyway. That's what the app says and that's what everybody quotes. Your phone is the choke point. App was telling you the WiFi signal was not good when it said to move the router to a more central location. Uh, okay been using it for 6 weeks. Your experts at unraveling and rolling up cable and carrying Dishy in and out of the van . . . every bloody day. 🙄 RHS figure is router to satellites. LHS figure is your phone linking to the router. Router was right in front of you so I don't know why it was so pathetic even if it was standing 180 degrees wrong it would be better than that. Try installing the app on the other phone. Hopefully laptop will be better but point router into work area and you probably know this but, router is strictly an indoor device. By the way, you sure did the right thing convincing partner to get Starlink. Safe travels guys!

We haven't had the notification to move it to a central location since this first installation. Haha and yep we are total experts at unraveling and rolling up cables 🤣🤣🤣😜. Thanks so much for your comment 🫶

so even at 10Mbps thats still fast enough to run youtube or netflix on a tv and maybe both phones without any buffering on 1080p

just remember Mb is bits MB is bytes internet providers say like 30Mbps and people get confused between the 2 and wonder why speeds are nowhere near as fast as advertised
