The most important stat which probably cannot be mathematically calculated is how impactful were they to get the "W", so sure individual stats matter but at the end of the day it's a 5 on 5 games... the players mentioned LBJ, MJ and Kobe definitely all fit that mold... but idk about KD. So Steph is definitely top 10 in terms of that caliber.

Two of Steph’s accomplishments are tied to KD. @lessondburn39712 жыл бұрын
@@Luca-yb4sh well I understand why they were picked bc Steph had a horrible shooting slump after he broke that record, plus he got injured after the all star break. I understand it’s a regular season award and some of those guys deserve it when they got it.. my only contention w TMac is holding a lot of weight in it. Like that can’t be used to split hairs.. for instance, Kobe and Steph are ranked around the same area on my all time list. If we just look at 1st team selections, Kobe blows Steph out the water... but Kobe played in an era with really no great SGs.. Dwade, Reggie Miller, Ginobli, maybe AI depending on whether he was playing SG or PG in certain seasons.. I mean those guys aren’t real competition. the greats were SF in that era.. TMac, Vince, Paul Pierce. BUT I’ll take Steph all day over Kobe based off his finals performances, FG%, and ability to make his teammates better.

The fact that they have KD considered for top 10 and not Steph, they got the game messed up. Steph won before, with, and after KD left GS. KD made the decision to join them boys at GS. He took a back seat so KD could shine. Not many stars can do that and STILL be great. Hes also the ONLY one to win MVP unanimously and changed the game where everyone and all these analytics want you to shoot the 3ball. KD is a top 20 player. everyone has to deal with it. Greatness is relative to the era you play in. 90s were load with great players like Charles, Karl, David, Hakeem, Clyde but they got only few rings caus they were in the Jordan era. Same for Wilt within celtics dynasty and Lebron and the KD warriors. Players have to adapt to their time and make parameters tend to their advantage an it's what makes them" GREAT". That's why the 2011 mavs ring is remarkable regarding their path although Karl losses to mj, Bron to warriors and C's are still failures. That's the only reason why Dirk might legitly be considered greater than Karl, despite less individual accolades.

Kareem My contested group in my personal order at the moment is: 6.Duncan 7.Shaq 8.Bird 9.Steph 10.Russell 11.Hakeem 12.Wilt 13.Durant This lower list changes from time to time and I think KD will probably move up and the same with Steph.
