Love this video! I had my hips replaced at age 22. I'm now 42 & need to reestablish my flexibility after 5+ years of serious illness. My flexibility has always bern a top priority & im sure going into a long illness with going flexibility is why I can still bounce back after long hospitalizations with next to zero mobility. This is definitely staying in my regular regime.

I had surgery 6 weeks ago on my neck, low back, right hip, and pubic bone. I’ve started back slowly stretching. Thanks for this.

you're welcome! Strength training is the priority for you right now, stretching can be dangerous so early post operation. Good luck with the recovery :)

Thanks for sharing this knowledge, but this is a lot of work
@UnityGymOnline Жыл бұрын
Well that really depends. 40 minutes at the gym, 3 times a week will get this done. Is that much work for living a pain free life worth it? I'd argue it's more work not doing that. It's hard work being in pain and discomfort all the time

Hi. I followed your advice and tips also did the exercises for the hips as I had a hip resurfacing operation done couple of years back and it helped me a lot. Got Lil bit more flexible and I do the stretching exercises 3x a week. Just wanna give a BIG THANX For your efforts and help with all the advice and tips very much appreciated 👊💥

Thanks for the lesson. Just wondering, have you had hip replacement?

No, but I coach people who have

In this video, have you had hip replacement, which hip and how long ago since this video? I’m 8 week post op and not able to do this yet.
@UnityGymOnline4 ай бұрын
No I haven't. But I've coached people who have had hip replacements. They were training with me one week after surgery. I don't recommend getting workout advice from KZbin. I write custom programs for people after they've had surgery. And strength training is much more important than flexibility. Come and join my online personal training. It's only $1.75/day which is an invaluable investment if you want to regain your strength and flexibility. Check ot out unitygym.com

What about pins in both hips

you'd want to be very careful with that. I can't comment really because I haven't dealt with that myself and I'm not a medical professional.

How long after hip arthroscopy can I do these streches?

I'm not sure, I'd check with a physical therapist.

When you say surgery, do you mean total hip replacement?
@UnityGymOnline Жыл бұрын
Yes, any kind of hip surgery. We have a 68 year old leading trauma surgeon in the USA working with us post hip replacement surgery :)
