i think you missed the part where each of those dots were a guess you can click, there were a few from the start of the video where some of the other guesses sounded closer than the 'last' guess

@@ZenWorld oh totally its not at a stage where it will get everything right. but what you said about using it as a learning tool is why i got it in the first place, i went in and learned all the little dna patterns in the parameter mode, then i would feed it a sound and try to see the approach it took to make that sound and i could then start making the sound myself in serum

I bet if you train the model with serum, it would just make the resample to a wavetable, warps it through with a ramped up LFO and calls it a day.

Yes, we can do that now, brother! I appreciate this synth for what it is. Serum has too many variables I can only imagine the programming it would take. Synplant2 is still a strong purchase!

Hey brother, there are a bunch of videos of James Hype online using EvoSounds Serum sound sets. Always hooking him up with the new news. As for MAU P, I made a video on him where he left me a lovely testimonial that he used my work and appreciated the video. You can check out other prominent artists at Evosounds. I use the big artist for artists like yourself to discover my work. My goal is to create sounds that inspire the next wave of electronic music that will bring joy to tons of listeners worldwide. This could be copied for synths that use xml/json etc preset format like Serum/Vital. It would be quite simple: Generate wav files with different pitches of 1000 presets and then use GAN ML training to teach the AI model how each xml preset file "sounds". With enough training data it should learn what parameters need to be changed to get what sound. Then drag in wav file and it tries to generate preset from that. I'm quite sure that most big synths will have that feature in coming years. Btw, Synclavier synth already had that audio to synth preset in the 80's.

Control is very limited. The Genothing is clever - technically impressive. BUT it is a game as you say, NOT sound design. I set out most of the time to make a certain type of sound, this makes odd and largely not very useful sounds. Sure it is a bit amusing and from time to time might give an idea, but the reality is that this is not the game changer that YouBooberz are rabbiting on about. It is simply a clever toy, not particularly related to what a real sound designer has to do to get the right results for the Scene & Story of the Song. I decided not to review it at all. :-)
