I stumbled on this topic, I love it. I have a personal experience and currently slip in and out. It is not awareness alone, it is sharing love with just "hello" Starting an Anonymous group for Mental Health is on my bucket list

Exercise is the key, It helps a lot, when I lost my brother and the next 2 days my best friend, I tut life was over, I will not be able to function alone, fear came in and everything around me became worthless, luckily for me, I was always at the gym, which played a major part of my bouncing back in my tut and health wise. I thank God for my life.

Before now, I blame anyone who committed suicide but currently I know better. It's a battle for everyone and not just those having the thoughts of suicide.

The place of our creator in human existence is key. Depression is as real as night&day. Wealth doesn't give joy. What does it profit a man, to gain d world& loose his soul? Let's get connected to God. Just hearing His voice alone gives u assurance & dispels any form of depression. John 14:6, Isa. 41:10

What a pity, Arise TV presenter. It's a shame there's no psychiatrist (mental health physician) added to your panel? Yet you're talking about a mental health issue. Do you really know what you are doing? Your action reflects why Nigeria is the way it is. Hmmmmmmmmm

I personally urge people to open up more and talk to loved ones and even reach out to professionals when feeling depressed, suicide shouldn't be the solution. PLEASE 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Dr Lanre perfectly broke down the whole process of depression tho and anyone who was in that state at some point in life can easily relate. It's one crazy experience tbh and it's unfortunate that some people don't win the battle and end up committing suicide.

I feel everyone regardless of class or status should take up a social hobby or something. For me playing football once or twice a week has been my therapy, it clears my head and gets me going from time to time.

This Naija ehn, every single policy put out is basically set up to frustrate and destroy the people mentally. Even a failed attempt at suicide will be penalized with more activities that spikes up that same depression that led to the suicidal thoughts in the first place

Nigeria is a tough place because we as citizens have become so indiscipline in all ramifications of life...I do agree with the man and the lady..is a shame we don't show care to one another anymore today is like everyone has his or her own issues but that must not stop us from caring for others

Depression is a spirit. The bible says, in Isaiah 61:3, " for the spirit of heaviness ( depression) , wear the garment of praise. Praise is a weapon of the spirit. Depression keeps you in that dark place, but praise will fight to take you out

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever! Seek him today, and make him the Lord of your life. In him we can find peace even in the midst of a storm! Material possessions mean NOTHING if there is no peace…peace can only be found in Christ!! Depression is real, please seek help, but most of all seek your peace in Christ! He made us and has given us a manual on how to live on this earth! SEEK JESUS AND KNOW PEACE!! Be “deeply rooted” in Christ just like the lady guest affirmed! To God be the Glory!!🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️

Your message only applies to Christians and has zero meaning & effectiveness to people of other religions/faiths. There are trained and licensed therapists who deal with people suffering depression which are sadly lacking in Nigeria. FYI Christians also suffer depression and commit suicide

That pepper theory don't make sense! My wife eats a lot of pepper but too afraid whenever we visit the hospital due to fear of injections 💉 For me, I don't eat pepper but me and injection be best friend’s plus I rarely feel cold but my wife who exercises more than I do, is always cold... During winter season, I'm partially covered.
