Taylor Swift's contemporary - Adele shows up twice and as recently as 2015. Michael Jackson is the king of pop. Taylor ain't even the queen- Madonna is. Man and with the terrible competition Taylor has right now, Michael's music would absolutely kill in todays Billboard top 100.
