To that point, controlling the crowd. Taylor one time during her concert put her finger to her lips to hush the crowd and they immediately was silent. Taylor prefers the crowd to be loud and dancing like no one is watching. Both Bey and Tay have absolute control over the crowd. They are both dominant and queens. Dont get it twisted. I really hate when a conversation comes up with Taylor in it, it always goes they way of a face off.

Listening to this with my earbuds in doing housework singing along to the songs... My three boys are home, they know Taylor's songs, they know Beyonce's songs... But when I was singing MJ?!?? @@GentM2015 You aren’t wrong, but the difference is the talent, and even stylishness. No one in the Beatles could sing, dance, entertain, or be as striking when they stepped out into public or on stage like Michael Jackson did. That’s not a slight on The Beatles, because I don’t think anybody else has either. Prince is close, Chris Brown is close - but they lack the MJ-level sales to go with the talent & impact. But, at the end of the day, it’s all subjective.

When it comes to Michael, people mistakenly think that he just sang and danced and that's it. Michael Jackson wrote his own material and also produced it. He receives full songwriting credit for many of his songs. Then you have another part of his discrography that he credits as a co-writer and co-producer for him in collaboration with Quincy Jones, Teddy Riley and other producers like David Foster. One last part of his record material, he is credited as an interpreter, since he received songs from other composers and interpreted them without problems. Therefore, MJ could write and produce, co-produce and perform songs written by others.

It use to irritate me that Britney was able to lip sync her way to the top, but these no talent having lip syncers today that y'all call "artists" have opened my eyes and made me appreciate what Britney has contributed to entertainment. She at least tried to look like she was really singing by NOT taking the mic away from her mouth every 2 secs, or she would simply wear a headset. And her choreography & stage presence was always A-1 (prior to her downward spiral). What Britney lacked in vocals she made up for in choreography. She gave you your money's worth. Reaching with that title. MJ is untouchable. MJs music as a child alone is historical. EDIT: For historical reference: Michael Jackson has the top selling album of all time. He also has the 12th, and 20th top selling album of all time. Of the top 76 selling albums of all time - Taylor Swift does not show even once. Whereas Michael Jackson shows up 5 times. Taylor Swift's contemporary - Adele shows up twice and as recently as 2015. Michael Jackson is the king of pop. Taylor ain't even the queen- Madonna is. For reference, Madonna showed up multiple times (3) on that same list of top selling albums of all time. Man and with the terrible competition Taylor has right now, Michael's music would absolutely kill in todays Billboard top 100. Michael dominated in easily one of the top music generations of all time. If he had today's wet lettuce competition- he'd would have dominate that billboard.

Andrew shulz is a comedian that is attempting satire in this episode. MJ is the KING OF POP. I am kid that grew up in the 90s. Born in 93'. By the time I discovered MJ I was 6 years and living in Africa. I didn't even understand the lyrics or the style of music I was listening to. The mere fact that it grasped my attention all on its own is a huge indication that music is a universal language. The moment I had a decent understanding of the English language many years later and could sing along the right way. I understood that MJ stood for something greater than all of us. MJ IS THE KING OF POP TILL THIS DAY, IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW MANY POP STARS THAT CAME AFTER HIM OR ARE COMING AFTER HIM. HE SOLIDIFIED HIS PLACE AS THE ONE, but the kid is not his son. @@hild-demongoddess7498 damn the same paragraph I’ve seen you write in multiple comments do you have anything else to say anything new? Taylor has written songs about many life situations even some that she has not gone through her self but when you listen to it, it feels like she’s gone through it. A lot of Taylor songs, and even some lines and Taylor songs that she’s written to me personally have felt like they were exactly about my life or things that I went through. Half of the songs on Taylor‘s album folklore and evermore are not even about Taylor there about other people in her life or they’re made up scenarios as a lifelong Beyoncé fan Ann Taylor fan I feel like the only comparison you can make is that they both have a song talking about how much More successful and better their life would be if they were boys (“If I Were A Boy” - Beyoncé and “The Man” -Taylor. Taylor cannot write songs like My Power or other songs that Beyoncé has that are about uplifting, black voices and sharing the culture of Black people with everyone as Beyoncé can but Beyoncé cannot write and sing Evermore, Champagne Problems, Clean, No Body No Crime ft Haim, Cowboy Like Me, The Lakes, Epiphany, Exile ft Bon Iver, Carolina (from Where The Craw Dads Sing), Ronan, Forever Winter, All Too Well 10 minute version, Bigger Than The Whole Sky, Vigilante Shit, etc.

Not gon lie, comparing Taylor Swift to Beyoncé or MJ is NUTS. She sings over the vocals whereas Beyoncé is singing LIVE. And hitting every note. And doing elaborate choreography. Taylor needs to be compared to like Pink or Adele maybe. Maybe even Rihanna. But MJ? Beyoncé? Andrew is drunk lmao

MJ and Taylor’s music is so widespread that even if you never listen to them alone, you still know the chorus to like 15-20 songs. Most people know like 3 Beyoncé songs if we being real

Nah Pink and Adele can sing 💀 TS can sing better than JLo tho. But the biggest draw of TS is her lyrics anyway. Not her vocal ability.

The only reason Taylor’s career has lasted this long is because the industry exalted her after Kanye said Beyonce deserved her award. MJ did what he did in a time when people actually bought records. He invented the music video as we know it today. He revolutionized dancing and stage performance. Taylor has the benefit of streaming which can be manipulated. She is given top placement on all pop playlists so people will automatically hear her music. Andrew doesn’t even believe the bs he’s saying. He’s just trying to rile people up for comments and views and it’s working

Actually, Taylor has been championing for artist to own the rights to their music and in 2014 she pulled off all of her music from Spotify and streaming platforms and wrote a letter to Apple Music and said if you don’t pay these artists what they deserve, I will not have my music on your stream performance and I will have my fans go by actual physical CDs and they keep because they know how big Taylor is and her influence
