After building up Voiceless Voice a while back, I wasn’t going to bother building Tenpai because it’s almost just as expensive. Instead, I built Ritual Beasts and it was pretty quick to build with the new support cards. Man watching these pulls were painful. The game was playing with your emotions bestie.

As a MD PLAYER, one personal rule I always follow: is you can’t be the meta, TROLL with it instead. Can’t play TEMPAI, play cards that stops them. Example: TRAP CARD THREATENING ROAR. Many of their cards need to ATTACK to be useful, this trap removes their ability to do that. (No joke, was playing against a TEMPAI deck, and played this trap. The player was so dumbfounded, HE RAGE QUIT. 🤣)

I used dragon capture jar in the triangle duels. The tempai players would go full synchro combo thinking boss monster would cancel out the jar, but the jar just put them back into defense mode lol. (I was also running dark magician so sometimes the jar couldn't be popped thanks to fusion monster lol)

Nova, I was rewatching one of the old scripted duels, and I still remember one script that was a Yugi vs. Kaiba duel back in 2019 in Berlin. Unlike the Yugi vs. Kaiba duel back in 2016. The duel in 2019 had an interesting ending. I'm not going to tell who won, because I've already seen the video before.

No, Tenpai is not the most expensive deck in MD, not by far. Like yeah, all the core cards are UR, but the rest of the decks are just staples you would already have anyway. Out of all the decks that I have, HEROs is the most expensive deck and it's not even CLOSE to the second most expensive. HEROs have 20+ non-staple URs. Tenpai only has 11 (which is still expensive, but nowhere near close to being number 1). Branded is another popular deck that also beats Tenpai in costs, at about 15 URs.

If you have striker and board breaking staples play that blind second. striker counters the boards people are trying to build to stop tenpai. Also Raye is cute.
