Well, Vietnam doesn't sell land to foreigners, but it fully laid under wef now and still, foreign capital is in everything. First, us buys local companies, small ones..then it buys land, factories, industrial parks via these companies and even avoids other possible problems with co ownership instead of private. Secondly, land is sold as lease..it's literally covered country selling under "temporary" plans. Further, local government sells lands directly to other countries via diplomatic channels and so called development plans. Further, Vietnam took world bank loans and didn't return, and loans are guaranteed by the land, industry and other values of Vietnam, means it's the way the country is sold, for example. So, cancelling property for foreigners will work only agains mid class foreigners who move to Thai and buy the house their for their lovely pension. These people will be robbed at the end. The big gamers will be tuned and kept in the game still further. The country will still be changed within wef plans, no matter what is with it's property

As a non Thai, long-term resident, I fully support the Thai non-foreign land ownership regulations. Without strict regulations protecting local's rights of land ownership all of the greatest things about Thailand will suddenly be swallowed up by foreign interests, and all the reasons I chose to come here will become diluted into nothing of value. Why should not foreign people be allowed to live in another country so long as they respect the country and its ideas. Land ownership though should not be allowed or at least properly controlled so that it does not affect the citizens of the country. I’m European and I do believe in free movement over borders for all. Immigration equals itself out because people move to a country and others leave the country for another country. It’s wrong to think one can move to other countries but at the same time think that others are not allowed to move to your country. Same right for all. This idea that one should think my country is wrong. It’s our world for all. If we move to a country and respect its culture its ideas and not try to change its culture, accept its laws and rules. In other words Integration. Integrate into the community NOT work against the community and show respect to the community.

Thailand has been my home for 10 years now retired as of this year. I was working in oil and gas here from 2009 and later on in Malaysia. Great job Ben, stay on top this matter. I moved to Thailand and stayed for a year. I obtained OA Visa etc. When all the muss started happening with the election, no certainty about marijuana visa changes and other matters like taxes. I went to Thailand because I admired their freedom. I left because of the uncertainty brewing in the air. Thai government seems to me started to impinge on the freedom of the people.

I love Thailand as you do, and just 1 year ago, I purchased an Elite visa to get away from this craziness a year ago. How much time will it take them, in your opinion, to convert the country into the same sad state of affairs like in the West? Cause im convinced they will manage to do so sooner or later. They started this already during WWI and consequently were moving step by step forward. There is an excellent documentary book describing it in detail, including dates, names, lobbies, and even copies of relevant internal documents and directives....
