If you are confused about the shotgun, season 1 starts in 1912 so they existed. Thought it was odd the first time myself.

Shotguns have been around for a loooong time... for example the shotgun Arnold Schwarzenegger uses in Terminator 2 originally started getting sold in 1887...

This isn't a spoiler as it doesn't explain it in the anime on how they found the village. If I remember right the vase demon was able to find the village location because the vase demon has his vases in shops and stores all around and one of the swordsmiths had bought one and taken it back to the village. That's why the vase demon was the one who said he may have some information during the meeting with muzan. I may have that wrong but I remember reading it somewhere.

Demon Slayer is set in the Taisho era, which makes it sound old, but that's actually 1912-1926. Shotguns make sense and fit in neatly with other things of that time, such as steam trains.

yup, that's the end for all funny moments for this season. now it's just drama and stress. also, about the gun, demon slayer takes place in the taisho era (1912 - 1926). the first double barrel shotguns were reveiled in the london fair in 1851. so Geniya having that gun is totally historically accurate. in fact, there is a very high chance that the rest of the world is currently in the middle of the first world war, when those events are taking place XD

its sad when the upper 6 is was more interesting than the upper 5 and 4. also the upper 5 (pot guy?) is soo lame. i forget who is 4 and who is 5, but the old man does seem annoying as hell to defeat but its really sad when cutting the head off doesnt mean killing the demon anymore. the author really messed up when he set rules to kill demon but then constantly goes against those rules to demonstrate power.... really lame to be honest.
