Can you also fit hyperbolas for pipes? But the dielectric and wave velocity determine with fitting is the layer and not the detected hyperbola. Isnt it?

Its an estimate of the speed from ground surface to the top of pipe. An important issue is pipe size. If it is a large pipe then the speed will be overestimated.

What if i wanted to determine the dielectric property of the hyperbola or the detected object. Will it be possible?

That will be tough. But maybe if there is a way to determin teue reflection coefficient and conductivity, then maybe possible.
