Front end aside, it's a good looking car. Love the color. The seats are really nice as well, I like the saddle brown. The cover that goes over the top when it's down is a nice touch! Exhaust sounds great, love the pops and bangs! I would obviously want it in a manual. Great video Joe! Shout out to big guns 💪🏼💪🏼

2019 chevy camaro tha same as mine but not convertible, is a v6 with 335hp. I love this car. May not do 0 to 60 in 4 seconds but let me say it dose the job. I don’t know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but the backup camera on this car is actually hidden right above the license plate right next to the trunk button. That camera on the wing is actually for the rear view mirror camera option. I have a 2019 SS myself and it really does with the poor visibility in the car

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again I love that front end specially seeing it in person, however that “flowtie” does need to be between the headlights it has no business being in the center

Hey great review as usual, I think a lot of people who hated this front end design were judging it from pictures, these do look better in person. Also great color combo on this car. I do agree tail lights should be red . I do think it also needs SS stripes and SS emblems in place of those bow ties. Have you seen the LT1 looks great! and has red tail lights. Could be the bargain V8 that brings sales back up. If it comes in convertible I would be very tempted! Might force ford to bring back the LX 5.0 . Both were great affordable clean slate muscle cars that you could mod any way you liked.

So sad to see the camaro die off like this, although mustang for the past couple of years has been leading in sales anyways, it’s still good to have a variety of competition because I feel like it makes car companies have no choice but to keep improving their cars to make them better and faster than their competition. Plus me as a car enthusiast I love seeing all cars not just one particular, plus I feel like it helps keep their from being to many of just one car on the road even tho already there is about 5 mustangs every block 😂 but in terms of this camaro design that yes even me my self I don’t like I feel like for some reason 30/40 years from now that these will be very rare and valuable since they only made them for one year and not many people brought them

U know when I first saw this camaro when it was first unveiled I thought it was really ugly ... but now it’s grown on me a little and even tho it’s not fantastic it’s still decent and unique and since they’re killing off the camaro in 2023 and they are only making 1 year with this front end I bet they will be worth something later down the road because of the rarity

2019 was a disaster facelift and Chevrolet acknowledges this, hence the rushed redesign for 2020. Love the color though - garnet red, right?

Great review, Joe. Love that convertible Camaro, but is the rear window even smaller than the coupe model, when the top is up? I gotta zonk ya for not using that split view camera so we could see you and out the front window as well. The exhaust note sounds good, but the Mustang 350 beats it hands down, in my opinion. A bit pricey for me, but maybe a used one, a couple of years from now, would work for me. Thanks again Joe, keep em' comin!

MAN CAMAROS FRICKING ROCK MAN! I drive a late model SS and that thang is a rocket ship. It consistently outperforms anything that challenges it, it attracts attention from anybody who looks at it, and it drives like a DREAM! I’ve had the car 6 months Sept 12, and I’ve already driven it 26,000 miles already. I am so addicted to driving this thing, I cannot leave it parked for even a single day! It inspires so much passion & competitiveness inside of me and it’s totally changed my personality for the better. I’m a cocky, winner now because I know that when I tell that thang to get up, that BISH will go and catch any car that tries to get away from it! It drives AMAZINGLY everyday of the week, performance is unmatched, respectable fuel economy, resale value increases every month, dealership guys love test driving it, it’s backed by Chevy’s reputation for reliability, and it’s a fricking gorgeous-engineering masterpiece! Chevy could not have designed and given us a better product if they had even wanted to. Personally, I like the ZL1 convertible better, but the Alpha chassis has definitely proven itself in the Camaro and also in the ATS V. I like the 2018 front end styling MUCH better also.

Just bought a 2019 white ss drop top. Had 2007 droptop mustang back in the day. I like the 2019 exclusive look and it’s different. Big huge rims with Brembo caliper. The blind spot is solved with the camera . I don’t have the npp exhaust which is fine I plan on changing the stock exhaust and riding her until the wheels fall off.

You should always use your mirrors to check your surrounding. It says it on the infotainment screen when the camera is on.

Sorry Joe, but I completely disagree with your zonks on the front end. The flowtie looks amazing front and center and the blacked out bumper is way more aggressive than the color matching 2020’s coming out. Like comparing a second gen camaro split bumper to the full bumper versions. And I’m stunned you said you don’t like the clear taillights. That’s an upgraded feature trickled down from the ZL1’s and Corvettes. The red taillights that come on the 4 and 6 cylinders look pretty cheap. They look tacky and stand out weird similar to the Mustang’s. Glad to see another review on the 2019 Camaro SS but not a fan of what you had to say about the exterior this time around.

I have a blue 2017 Chevy Camaro. Her name is blue and my dad takes her to work all the time. It’s like having another pet but way more bigger than the pets I have. I have a zoo at my house. And blue is a Piece of that zoo. We are planning to put white stripes on her! Her revving sounds amazing. She’s a convertible too! We love our blue 💖 my brother loves showing off with her. We also like taking the top down on a hot day, and also I’d probably think that she is the car queen of corona because we got her during virus season.
