I have the 2021 SS 1LE with the 6 speed. It has only 2700 miles. It is my weekend cruise car. It is by far my favorite driving car with that sweet 6.2 sound. It's too bad the electric garbage cars are being forced down our throats. Nobody is asking for those long wait times to charge a battery... Great review as always,,, and of course it would not happen without Lori getting all the great shots and angles.

I wouldn't mind an awd hybrid like the Corvette did but I hope they have trouble selling EVs. I think its a scam, my electric bill has increased,just wait,its going to be a supply & demand issue & I'd never be comfortable on a trip waiting on a charge.

I had a 2019 2 SS that I traded for a c 8 but I really missed my Camaro. I just bought a brand new shock and steel 2 SS Camaro. I got it for 2 under sticker plus an additional 750 rebate. Whether they hold their value or not I just feel damn lucky to have one again. It's just a very impressive car.

Bought mine in 2019 and not a single day has passed that I have regretted it. It's as special to me today as the day I drove it off the lot. Is it fair to say the car is being killed off though? GM/Chevrolet says this is not the end of the Camaro story.

They've suggested that the next Camaro will be a EV. Which depending on who you ask a EV is not a real insert car name. I'm hoping that with the recent investment into their future V8s that GM will possibly bring back the Camaro as a hybrid. I'll take a hybrid sedan Camaro, preferably a 2 door over a EV anything Camaro.

Great review, love the Camaro's. I have a 6th gen and a 4th gen currently. Will miss them, but glad the camaro has always stayed true to their roots and like you hope to never see it as an EV or a 4 door. The Camaro has a loyal following of enthusiasts, it's not just a car to us.

I've owned Mustangs and have loved Mustangs since my first, a 1991 LX 5.0. I've never been a fan of the Camaro but when I rented a 2019 Mustang GT and had to return it..I was offered a 2019 Camaro SS. I took it and omfg...I fell in love with it. The spartan interior with the handling felt MUCH better and more driver oriented. I would definitely pick one up.

Thank you so much Joe for reviewing the 2024 Camaro. I bought a 2023 SS convertible in Rapid blue back in September. I've been waiting to see what next year's model will look like to determine if I was going to order one in June. They are the same model that's been put out the past few years. No horsepower increase or body styling changes, so I won't be ordering a 2024. It's sad to see them go, but they will be back. The little accent stickers aren't really an upgrade at all. Maybe the commemorative edition will, but I highly doubt it.

Beautiful car, the end of an era. Yes a 1/2 a zonk for the "SS" badge on the bumper main reason being it complicates detailing the rear bumper on your baby. However the area on the trunk is too small to put it next to the Chevy Bowtie, it would look too busy there. Personally I think the Rapid Blue looks even better on the C8.

I love the Camaro. I have a 2021 RS. I had a 2002 Z28 which I regret trading in . I was at the NY Auto Show too. They relegated the Camaro SS to the rear corner and the Malibu to behind its display.

My dad and I used to work at the Javits Center and the best show of the year was the car show. It’s when we would basically work around the clock sometimes 18 or 20 hour days sleep for a few hours in a room and come back to work, but it wasn’t about the money. It was about putting the shows together and getting a first look at the car, the only thing I miss about working at the Javits Center. Back then if you help someone out get their booth together a little faster, you would make friends with someone and if you needed a car, they would tell you who to go talk to.

2:55 "Rapid Blue" has been around for at least 40 years , it's actually one of the "safety" colors used in Europe , because of it's high visibility it gets you lower insurance premiums.

Gm could have done some much with this car. They could have put the LT2 in the SS, used the L8T truck motor to make an SS 396, or made the Z/28 with the LT6 and a manual. Sales would've soared.

Believe it or not, I just traded my '23 70TH Anniversary C8 Stingray Coupe on a '24 Camaro 2SS Convertible. I bought a Black one with the Adrenaline Red interior. It has a 6 speed manual, Mag Ride, Dual Mode exhaust and the same wheels in your video. Really liked the C8, but found myself getting bored with out the manual transmission. Happy with my decision especially with a good chunk of change back in my pocket.

Amazed how the 2024 Camaro looks like a Mustang, and how the 2024 Mustang looks like the previous gen Camaro. Did they make an even swap of their design teams? I’ve always been a Mustang guy who currently owns an 2017 Mustang GT convertible California Special in Grabber Blue, but I have to admit this new Camaro looks so much better. I was considering a Corvette in Rapid Blue, but now think I’d be more satisfied swapping out my Mustang for this retiring Camaro as shown in this video.

I would love to have a Camaro SS I had a Camaro Z 28 for a short period back and 2005 to 2009 but had to sell it because I couldn’t afford all the repairs needed but it kills me all the rich people in this country and I can’t find one to buy one for me since I cannot afford one so I got a feeling I guess I’ll never own a Camaro again. Sure wish somebody would step up to the plate that can financially afford it and help me get one. 😢😩☹️🙁

Here is what continues to miss, with this type of design. ONE, sitting down so low the top of the door frame is almost at your ears--and visbility continues to suck. Cool looking for sure though. But visbility IS a big deal and this car doesn't have it. Second--the V8. IF you insist on one, get one with the 6--not the silly 4 OR the silly 8, 6 is all you need and have fun in the corners, straight line fast enough for most of us, even when we think we are Andretti--and we are NOT. Get the good mileage, low up front cost, decent insurance rates--and live with "looking bad"--because brother, most of us--like it or not, are NOT "bad" behind the wheel., only in our imagination.

Great Job on Reviewing the Camaro SS. I currently own 2 . One is a 1969 Z28 Rally Sport . The other is a 2010 Camaro SS . I am not a fan favorite of the 6 generation. But I am really thinking really hard on ordering a 2024 with a rag top . I am really disappointed with GM. They just let the car die off without any additional upgrades at all. Like they just made the car and that's it. So sad to see it go. I am not a fan favorite of this electric crap they a jamming down our throat. What GM need is someone at the top that is a gearhead. One that lived and breaths performance cars. Just take a look at what Dodge had done with their Challenger. Basically the same as the first year they built it in 2008. A few tweaks her and their. They were great at giving what the people wanted. Faster car . That is all what we really want. Not what the government wants. I say we keep the government away from cars. They can't even run the country we have now . Truly A sad day for the Camaro.

This is almost exactly like my 2021 Camaro SS Shock and Steel special edition. All the special badges, the stripes, the calipers, the wheels, the carbon fiber dash, all on mine. The only difference is in 2021 Shock and Steel was only available as either steel or shock as the colors, not blue.

@@Somanybeats well the 🐈 was my newest purchase last year. There’s definitely room in your life for both, especially if one is a manual. I think the manual fits best for “sporty” cars, my kitty is a auto
