Is the 2019 GMC Sierra AT4 the MOST capable OFF Road V8 truck?

My dad got one and holy crap it is awesome. Handles trailers and offroading really really well. Its also a very luxurious and humongous truck, and overall really amazing.

The exterior is an effn 10! The interior is a solid 5. For those of you that are pure GMC - CHEVY lovers, I'm sure little things like info-tanment and or digital speedo with tons of options won't matter but, for those people who are not loyal to a brand and want to spend 60k to 70k on a luxury off road truck... These things will matter. In my simple opinion.

If you add the technology package the oil and other gauges in the center are digital. Most of the AT4s in DFW area have sunroof and tech package for around 62k. Less with rebates from GM. I prefer the utilitarian feel of GM and Chevy. I also like the traditional gauges vs digit. And using my truck for hunting and taking off-road. I prefer no sunroof. I love the new Ram too...honestly too many options and I don’t think there are really any bad choices. Great time to buy and review vehicles.

I am not sure how I feel about the Chevy GMC trucks. I am not a fan of the new interior. I think the previous gen was far better minus them not having rear vents. I will say, the exterior styling for the GMC is very nice, really aggressive. Great review Raiti's Rides.

Larger screen? One of the things I like the most about my AT4 is the size of the info screen as is. Its so welcome to see a manufacturer not following this crazy trend for bigger screens. Dont get me wrong, screens are handy but this trend for large screens is getting out of control.

Love this Truck!!! 1st thing, dump the Rancho shocks and switch to Fox shocks or Kings. Get a lift and put some Yokohama Geolander X-AT's on there. Good to go!

I love love the interior on these trucks. But the power seats are rock hard. I test drove a trail boss custom and the manual seats just fit me personally.. it felt like it was MY truck and I could spend some time in that seat. But I wanted a decent trim package. The AT4s are just drool worthy. 😁😁

I have a 2019 x31 I would zonk the button for the tail gate I live in Saskatchewan Canada were - 40 is not uncommon in winter but yeah you sit and click and click and click its a battle to get the gate open

The 3 things that stopped me from putting this truck in my driveway... small infotainment screen, for that money it should look like the Ram. 2, no panel roof... if I'm spending top bucks I wanna feel the sun and see the moon all the way...3, I can't stand the wheel wells... that shape is awkward and I don't think it flows with the angles of that truck. That engine is the only thing special about that truck, the Rebel beats it's in everything else.

this is the nicest looking half ton truck on the market.. the designers were obviously different from the silverado which is absolutely hideous.. i wouldnt buy that truck ever...this truck is almost perfect.. too bad they didnt match the infotaiment of the Ram but its pretty close.. the tech is great..the look is great. the stance and the sound is great.. other note. i will never buy a truck without actual tow/truck mirrors.. they should be mandatory on all trucks.. not these little car mirrors, if there wasnt an option to switch to a tow/truck mirror.. i wouldnt buy it

I was at a dealer and there is no skids plates only on the engine and it to tin :( that’s all :( They need to put the interior from 2021 Yukon :) and electronic lockers to :( The GM it’s not off road truck it’s Country road truck LOL 😂 And there is no 2 inches lifting kit it’s level kit LOL , it hurts to knuckles and it’s made to be in the shop :( If you look carefully there is no difference then Denali & Sierra or AT4 :( only Rancho shocks junk and tiers LOL 😂 NO Dif Lockers no proper lift kit :( and cheep Shocks :((

It's actually an 8" infotainment screen, but yes, a 10" or larger would be nice. Additionally, GM's screen are so much nicer than Ford's. Ford's look so washed out and monochromatic to me.

The second generation Ford raptor with a 6 cylinder engine sound like 4 cylinder engine when your driving 30 to 40 miles per hour in the city thats what turned me off not going to pay tons of money for a 6 cylinder truck what was Ford thinking when they made this 2nd generation, apparently they weren't thinking, Ford using the public as giennie pigs on the 2nd generation Raptor, i'd rather buy a 6.2 gmc period.

I didn’t mean to curse but I just don’t find it to be a deal breaker at all. Sure, is having a huge screen like the Rams a way of justifying the price on these vehicles? Of course. I just don’t think it really adds anything to the driving experience. HOWEVER putting an entertainment system on the headrests so my son can way watch baby shark or CARS would be nice without making me pay for it.
