For the price, THIS is a great package. I really think Chevy engineers nailed it with this ride. Good handling and performance and even managed to make it sound great. One weird thing though is that the aggressive look of this particular car definitely suggests that it has a V8 in it... also i agree that the visibility in these Camaros isn't easy to get used to.

I am all about V8’s, but I read somewhere that a non-1LE SS Camaro got absolutely smoked around the Nurburgring by the 1LE V6, and it was by quite a considerable number. Goes to show how awesome the 1LE package is.

Ford does not do this and of course dodge doesnt, the dodge community sees the v6 as a 4 cylinder its so ridiculous but this make the camaro stand alot. i respect chevy for going the distance such a great value wow. this will Definitely be my next car, a v6 is enough power for me. My '17 Taurus limited only come with 240tq compared to 280 tq and it gets outdone by by more than 40horsepower even when you compare the same v6 found in the mustang it still doesnt compete as well

I totally agree. But I had to have that E-Force Edelbrock 15995 Supercharger with the Bilstein B-14 PSS suspension which has more FEEL than the 1LE. It is not the thickness of the sway bar that makes it feel so...connected. it is not the Alcantara Wheel Wrap ($34.99) but IS the BMR ELK-016 front adjustable end linkst han the 1LE RS package which is a cheap 1LT 3.6 and 1" larger rotors and 20" wheels so that the BRAKES: 4 piston "CHEVROLET".........."by brembo" in tiny writing will fit. Just so u know. I get it Chevy. They are Brembo spec'd and built by Chevrolet. SO WHAT?? As long as it is made in USA or N. USA (Canada LOL). So here is the $$$. 2020 Riverside Blue Camaro 3.6 1LT with TREMEC TR3160. 6 SPEED MANUAL. Stock power is 335 HP SAE NET. 274 LB FT SAE NET. FUEL CUTOFF 7200 RPM!!!! (WOW!!) that is because the 3.6 is GM new CORPORATE Engine) From a Cadillac CT4 and CT5 to the Colorado pickup. The 3.6 is the engine of choice. Good on gas, great on power. Awesome intake sound piped into the center dash speaker via a transducer. (It also works for music) along with my Pioneer sealed powered subwoofer TS-WX1210A (350 w RMS In the trunk) It takes almost no room. I bought it as a CPO car at Carmax. 3.6k. So. The problem I inherited was the kid who thought he knew how to drive stick.....he didn't. It cost me $729 in parts and $1200 to crack it open The trans was abused in every way possible. After flushing it manually once with it completely disassembled and using a pressure washer with transmission interior cleaner. we found that the kids dad had taken the car from the kid, and the kid destroyed the clutch on purpose. So after we made sure there were no metal pieces on/in the tranny; we reassembled it and replaced every piece of the clutch. So, $2000 lesson there. But all in: $24,250 car (after I talked seller down since they would NOT help me with replacing the clutch). So: $24250 + $2000 clutch nightmare + $5500 Supercharger kit + $2200 to install + $1250 to tune by Chris Brewer tuning. + blackout rear of car with diffuser and Black SS taillights along with double black license plate covers. + Gloss black R/S style. wheels. with ciper covers . Lloyds custom "Chevrolet Racing" floor mats. ($138 each) A few carbon fiber dash accoutrement's Carbon fiber "restrained use" interior trim. Worked well. *best deal* $1009 Bilstein B-14 strut and shock kit with lowering springs: BMR ELK-016 front adjustable end links ($159 more) $750 to install kit plus $50 for end links. $24,250+$2000+$5500+$2200×$1250$+ $1009 + $850, =$38,294. I still need 20" rims. Perhaps from of a wrecked RS 1LE, but they are widely (pun intended) available for $1000. Then tires for another $800. But I don't need them. It's just for looks. The carbon ceramic brake pads work just fine for my car. So, 538.02 HP *SAE NET. 468RWHP. Supercharged for $38,294. I call that a bargain. Then....if you have some rim and tire suggested combo's (1LE just like the car on this site...gloss black) for less than $2000 please let me know!!!

I drive a Mustang V-6 and just when on Mafia Racing and watched him install a supercharger on a V-6. My head was spinning by the end of that video. With all those added parts, you are just asking for trouble. My recommendation would be to buy a V-8 and forget about the supercharger if you really needed those 100 additional ponies.

I wasn't sure you could get the RS and 1le packages together but it appears you can. There are specific rims, spoiler and such for each package so wonder how they put it together. Why do people base cars off of purely reviews and new MSRP price? Idk why anyone in 2020 would buy a car new. You can get any car with 10k miles which is still basically new and take 8k off the price tag. A 3LT 1LE in my area sells for $28k with more options just with 12k miles. People in these comments are so ridiculous, can we look at the real world please? Go on cargurus right now

@whatswrong5985 жыл бұрын
CommanderMau9 I got you; If you want a big, fat, slow car that looks good and rides smooth it’s the perfect car for you... just don’t get it and expect decent performance as you will loose to things like V6 accords and Ford Fiestas

The current Camaro is a little too heavy for a NA V6 but the concept is good overall. I drive the OG BMW M2 which is similar in intent. If Chevy could add supercharging to the 6 then the whole picture changes.

Smoked out lights. Oldhead. I get the biggest compliments on those rear lights. I see mustangs trying to have that look. 330 i 's 2020 come with smoked rear lights. Hip hop killed rock and roll a long time ago. 2020 new era look. Have to compliment chevy for something's they do. They don't do much. Peace

I’m not sure if the ss has a similar feel, the ss 1le is stupid easy to drive. I have a focus st and the clutch engagement and shifter transition is sometimes funky. I can safely assume it’s easier to drive than my hot hatch. So yes you can learn.

I am a huge fan of the BRZ and was thinking of getting one soon. Which do you think is better between this and a BRZ limited with the performance package? Love the looks of the BRZ and the way it feels. I haven’t given the camaro a test drive yet. Not a huge fan of the way it looks but love that lime green color
@wbwayne88875 жыл бұрын
The Camaro is for sure a great handling car, but is alot larger and heavier than the BRZ. I would rather have the BRZ personally.
@tomdubois30625 жыл бұрын
I honestly would wait on the Brz and check out some other cars. Also there’s rumors of more powerful next genera Brz that’s going to come in like a year or so.

Great review Joe!! Incredible car for what you pay for. All of that performance and styling for less than $40,000 MSRP... Heck ya!
