Prices are all over the place. I got my base model scat for $31k, $34 out the door. But I had to go to VA to get that price. Prices in MD were generally $5-6k higher.

I recently switched from an ‘18 RT to a ‘20 Scat Pack for $39k out the door. The difference between the 5.7L 370hp and the 6.4L 485 is massive, but I still had an absolute blast with my RT. The Scat Pack is definitely worth the extra $5-7k you’ll spend on it, though.

I am debating on buying a 2019 Mercedes C43 coupe as a daily , a 2020 Scat pack ( not daily ) or go big and wait maybe another year for a few investments I’ve done to kick in and buy me a 2020 Hellcat? Obviously not a daily. I use my 2011 Mercedes e350 daily with only 101k miles I plan to keep it forever , a lot of sentimental value in it and I’ve modded it as well. If I were to buy either a Scat or Hellcat i would use occasionally and use my E350 daily . I feel like 485hp is enough power for me though. Still stuck on it I should wait or just go for the scat

Picked up mine last week. The three faux buttons on the steering wheel is for adaptive cruise control included with the technology package. You can get the carbon fiber package if you don't care for the plastic around the shifter. Won't get any traction with 245's (the dynamic package has 275's, adds a flat bottom steering wheel and six piston Brembo's up front). Good review. Keep up the good work.

I test drove this and the Chevy SS. I was split between the two, but felt that I had better control with the Chevy SS than the Charger Scat Pack. I got whiplash with the Scat Pack, lol. Unfortunately, I finally got a stable job 1 year after the Chevy SS went out of production. I would get this as a family sedan.

I bought a 2019 Scat Pack Stars and Stripes edition. I have a family and surprisingly, this car is very practical. Cylinder deactivation helps with gas consumption. For the money, it’s a great car. The transmission and engine outweigh some of the plastic parts on the inside of the car. I had a Lexus GS 350, which was high quality, but boring to drive.

There should be a setting to fix that steering feel issue that you mentioned. It’s probably set to “Normal” or “Comfort” by default. Change it to “Sport” and you’ll probably be good to go

Great review! I have a 2017 Scat Pack and love every minute I am in it. One question I have though around "Wanting it to have more weight in the steering wheel"... When I put mine in Sport or Track mode, it tightens up the steering a lot. When you were doing your review, did you have it in "Street"? I feel that "Street" mode has A LOT of play.

I've always kept my eye on the big 3, Dodge is always the cheapest in cost to performance. Ford and Chevy easily break $45K for their pony cars and Chevy in particular hits around $48K for an SS. In regular all around normal not going to the track and don't care about racing or drag the Charger and Challenger siblings are great. Now to my biased opinion, the 2001 Dodge Intrepid was my first car and these big bodies will always have a place in my heart, the fact that the Challenger is a 2 door with an actual usable backseat is what makes these cars my next choice in vehicle selection. I have a F150 right now and by no means is it bad, but the 10 speed is annoying :(

When the car is in sport mode, you get a lot more feedback from the steering wheel. I own a Charger and love it. The regular steering is fine for cruising, but sport and track modes are great for curvier roads.

The nostril look in the grille on the 19-20 chargers will always be my favorite. The narrow body is my favorite too. I don't see why putting the widebody makes sense from a performance perspective. It does look amazing and yeah i think it makes it possible to put a bigger tire on, but does it really matter a whole lot what the size of the tire is with that much power? Especially on the street, if you're at the strip or the road course yeah it probably makes a difference, but most people aren't racing these cars formally.

Brother you can control the steering feel! It should be in the same setting as the suspensions settings i.e comfort, sport, or super stiff. My buddy has a 2016 scatpack so I know that one has it too! Those dodge infotainment centers are the most impressive and best of any American manufacturer (if not best and most user friendly anywhere) but yeah ut should be in there. :)

Biggest pet peeve with the Mopar cars is the lack of leather seats. It’s like only 10% of the Chargers/Challengers out there come with leather interior.... I’ve seen more SXT Plus trims with leather seats compared to R/T and Scat

Picked up my 2018 SP for $37,000 out the door. It had 6 miles on the odometer and now? I’m touching 68,000 in little over 3 years. This car just makes you want to take the long way home, every single time. Even if you’re out for groceries, you just cannot resist.
