I love my 2019 Bullitt, I don't in any way care about its relationship with the movie. I bought it because the paint is absolutely gorgeous and I like the understated debadged (including the deletion of 5.0 badge on the fenders), no spoiler look. It kind feels like the gentleman's Mustang. The bright colors are nice but I feel they are somewhat cartoonish and will age poorly. You are correct, the standard seats are both heated and cooled and very comfortable. At 6'2", 240lbs I found the Recaros to be far too restricted - something to keep in mind for larger folk. Overall I have zero regrets for purchasing this car new, the first new car I have ever owned at 48 years old. Great review, thanks.

Much like other people commented, I picked up my 2019 last year before covid hit. In 13 months, I've put on almost 18,000 miles as it is my daily and have done multiple road trips. This thing eats miles like it's nothing, pushing close to 28-29mpg during some of our trips, but is also a blast on a track I took it to last year (very trackable car that's stock). The debadged looks and less "loud" color and the exhaust is what sold me. Before I pulled I "bit the Bullitt" (pun intended) and got mine, I recorded the exhaust sound at the dealership and listened to it before bed. That's how much I love mine and its burbly exhaust!

This is Americas icon is priceless and a rare future classic muscle car will be worth a fortune soon the last of the petrol v8ts and the last example to only come with a dying manual transmission only in this model and this is what makes this car as rare as old school can get something that we will never see again it will end up being a show piece to remind us what it was realy like to drive a stick back in the day and what an experience it realy was. Salute to the mustang bullitt.

The sound and power plus better handling make this car fun to drive. The fantastic styling and color makes it standout from the typical Mustang. I chose this over the track focused GT350 because it was more of a daily driver and I liked the understated low key “sleeper” look over the more dramatic look of the GT350 with the large wing and stripes. Plus I liked the sound of the Bullitt better. It’s more subdued then the raw louder GT3550.

Before watching this video review, I thought it was going to be just another typical basic Bullitt review, but to my surprise you actually did a great detailed review of the car! I thought that I was the only one who noticed the offset alignment of the chrome trim on the windows, but I guess I'm not the only one with a slight case of OCD, lol. Another small thing that bothers me about the Bullitt wheels is the center caps, Ford could have produced Bullitt logos on the centercaps instead of the stock pony's. And kudos to you for going that extra mile by climbing in and out of that small backseat. Nice camera shots and a great review overall. 🙂👍

Great review! Really appreciate you talking about how it compares with its competitors. I do think $54k is too much for that car/interior and suspect GETRAG manual box. The Bullit sounds great. Only V8 that out does it is the NA Voodoo 5.2L in the GT350. At $54k for this I would really save and deal to get a.Shelby GT350 for a few thousand more. Will say that Ford has the worse interior and plastics in the indusrty which is a shame. The other too aren't killing it in the interior department but the plastics in the Ford feel much lower quality for whatever reason.
@MilesPerHr4 жыл бұрын
I agree that saving for the GT350 makes a lot of sense. The plastics are very bad inside the Ford (shockingly, the Camaro is the best in that department)
@rembo1834 жыл бұрын
Blake Swan - Getrag is a German company and makes the manual transmission for the Porsche GT4 and other high end Porsche and BMW products. Obviously this Bullitt is not on that level but as an owner of this car I can assure you the manual works well and I’ve had no issues whatsoever. In fact, I love its buttery smooth shifting and easy clutch engagement. The feeling is quite good for a large heavier coupe(3780 lbs). A lighter Porsche with mid engine design is certainly better but to get the comparable power and sound you spend about $100k. This car is much more affordable and presents a fun experience at a more realistic price point for most buyers.
@rembo1834 жыл бұрын
The GT 350 is a more track focused car then the Bullitt but I believe the Bullitt is a better fit as a daily driver. These cars are usually purchased below MSRP in most places now. You can get them new for under $50k. You can get them used for $42-$46k. The GT350 new is $65k and used low mileage ones are in the mid $50’s. They are both great cars. The Bullitt has proven reliable so far and the Coyote engine is strong and reliable. According to Car and Drivers long term test use, the GT 350 needs much more maintenance for excessive engine oil consumption. People have also complained about engine failures on the GT350... but many people also say it’s reliable too. I believe the standard GT or Bullitt are great choices. If you love tracking your car then a GT350 is best IMO.
@kellybutterbaugh4144 жыл бұрын
I got a 2020 with all the options for 50k, I was torn between a brand new car or a used 2016 /2017 GT 350 for 50k with around 10 thousand miles. I am happy with the Bullitt and having something brand new is a bonus.
@rembo1834 жыл бұрын
@@kellybutterbaugh414 - I made the same decision. My Bullitt is really great and it has everything I need re power and styling. Totally worth the $50k I spent. A new base GT350 was about $65k. There are used ones out there with low miles but then you need to buy the extra warranty or risk problems with older models. I feel that the Bullitt covers all the bases and is the best Mustang for daily use. I’m not interested in tracking my car.

OK, I feel compelled to mention the alarm(factory) that is in this puppy. If you don't know how to start it, there are no instructions to look for. On top of that, with the factory installed alarm, you cannot start the car without your cell phone. Yes.....your cell phone has to be in your vehicle to start. It's part of the alarm system. There are no instructions about the alarm. It is up to the dealer to explain, and they know nothing. So Ford sorta fudged up on that. The alarm is very effective though....the flashing green light on the drivers side, down by the lower right side of the wheel well is the only clue that the alarm is on. Remember, all you have to have is your cell phone with you. The dealer programs this feature. The FOB is a nice touch. But useless if you don't have a cell phone.
@joannegonzales89164 жыл бұрын
Let me fix the 'lower right side of the wheel well'. Correct that to 'the lower right side of the interior on the drivers side. I don't give that light long to live. AND, it is not considered part of the cost from FORD. The alarm manufacture is incharge of everything related to the alarm.

This is completely untrue at least for my 2019 Bullitt. As long as i have the fob i am golden.
