That car truly does check all the boxes: -Great acceleration -Great handling -Attractive exterior -Attractive and high quality interior -AWD available -Top safety ratings and full safety tech standard -Very comfortable cruiser and daily driver, while also being very capable performance-wise -Heated AND cooled seats (that work well) and heated steering wheel -Android auto and Apple car play -Awesome sound system -Proven themselves to be a high-quality reliable brand -Best-in the biz warranty and they even pick your car up for service. You'd be surprised how many other cars more expensive that can't check all these boxes. Beyond minor nitpicks, there is really nothing to complain about. Just a great bang for the buck.

Amari I just traded my Q50 in for a Stinger which is the sister car of the G70. The Stinger and G70 are light years better than a Q50. There are some pretty great rebates and discounts on these cars as well. INFINITI is struggling right now. Their sales numbers are abysmal and they don’t have any new vehicles except for the QX55 coming out this year. Some dealerships could be in jeopardy of going under if they don’t start improving their lineup really soon. Don’t hesitate to switch away from INFINITI right now.

Thanks for video. I just purchased a 2019 G70 3.3T Sport in October. Let me tell you a story..... That car sat on the showroom floor and every time I visited that dealership, I would always check it out. It’s a beautiful car, but I currently have a G90 so I wasn’t looking to buy another car. When ever they service my G90, they bring me a G70 2.0T. Also, I prefer bigger cars. Then one day, I took my nieces SantaFe to the dealership for an oil change and right at the entrance was a 2019 Genesis G70 with colorful letters written on the windshield. The letters said “$448 a month No Money Down See inside for details”. I thought there might be a catch so I inquired. To make a long story longer, I purchased that G70 that was on the floor. It turns out they were offering discounts to get rid of the 2019 models. I’m very pleased with it. Especially because it looks exactly like the 2020! The only thing I’m going to “ZONK” this car for is every bulb on this car is LED (As it should be) except for the reverse lights and the rear turn signals. John you said that 2020 version had full LED lights in the rear. If that’s true, that’s a good upgrade. I changed those incandescent bulbs to LED anyway and it was fairly easy to do. Now it’s perfect!

Just got one. 2 days ago (09/07/2020) GT-70 3.3T Sport Package with all available options. 20-inch Sport alloy wheels with Michelin tires. Brembo brakes. MSRP $53,500. I’ve got it as "special dealer offer" for $47,000 If I got just 30 minutes later I would not get it. I was waiting for paper work, and it where tree other customers interested to get this car. Frankly speaking, when I found this deal on Internet, I was coming to the dealership with one thought in mind "BS". And I was so surprised when they told me "Yes, we have it. Here it is in the show room". I'm sure I got the deal, because other three guys just left. May be dealer would do discount, but they simply do not have another car like this with the same package and engine configuration. I knew that one more dealership around had the same car, but without discount. Today is a first day I brought it to work. Everybody shocked when they so it life on the parking lot ! ☺

just watched this after watching the Kia stinger GT review. The Korean brands don't do enough to differentiate themselves. The entire interiors are exactly the same. Same nav, same ac controls, same tach.

I'm glad the genesis brand exists. Looks better than BMW, audi, Volvo, Lexus, infinity, jaguar etc.. the only brand that still looks better or comparable is Mercedes. Other than that, this brand is way better in looks and value

One suggestion for your reviews is confirming if the cars have a spare tire or not. Big deal for most people.

I have a recommend for people looking to buy the G70, if you like the design, go for it, other wise wait for the next generation of the G70 because that will have all the upgraded technology and it will be better than this G70, maybe except for the design. The next-gen G70 will literally be the best car ever and let’s be honest, Genesis’ design language just keeps getting better

How does it compare to the C43? Also, did you test the AWD?

There's actually an ultimate package that replaces the gauge cluster with an LCD screen. However, I don't know if it's available for the US market at the moment.

I try to understand why these luxury cars have so many electrical issues like they just can't get it together... I mean all those gadgets and s*** it's still a car it's got a steering wheel four tires a brake and gas pedal.

You get more value with the Kia Stinger GT. They discounted the Stinger a lot more. I like the exterior and the hatch of the Stinger a lot more.

One thing I never understood is people that don’t like the radar plaque in the Genesis vehicles but never point it out on Mercedes S-Class

Nice drive and features. But, the car is just too small in cargo space and back seats. I also found the front cramped for me (little room for right leg / center console). Also, for those interested, make sure to check out 2019 deals. New 2019 3.3T at local dealer for $37k!

Do recommend getting Genesis G70 or Kia Stinger?
@mikexcanxjerk3 жыл бұрын
If you want more room, stinger , if you want that lightweight feel, g70
