I was concerned and called Lexus who informed me that without notification, they added this feature "through the air". Fearing I could die of carbon monoxide poisoning I demanded it be removed! After watching this video I attempted to remotely start my newer 2020 ES350. and to my surprise IT DID START! You hit the lock button on the remote twice and it starts on the 3rd click. I feel customers need to be made aware of this.Lexus assured me it shuts down when the door opens or 45 seconds whichever comes first.

Lexus quality is unique and on another level. The longer you own these cars, the more you appreciate how well built these cars are. OK I just bought a 2020 Lexus LS 500 all-wheel-drive inspiration series with the specific color that goes with the inspiration series and I traded in a 2018 E400 coupe’. It was the only build of its kind in America according to Mercedes Benz so it cost around $93,000. The first thing that I would like everybody to know is that I have owned two S class Mercedes Benz. both with the equivalent executive package. So I consider myself an expert when it comes to these kind of cars. My E400 had a 23 speaker Burmeister stereo system in it. My Lexus inspiration series has a 23 speaker Mark Levinson stereo system. I know I’m going to make all the Lexus fan-boys upset but that Mark Levinson system comes nowhere close to that Mercedes-Benz Burmeister system. So instead of getting into a whole bunch of stuff that’s going to tick people off. Let me get to the bottom line if you want quality, refinement, and just pure opulence then you want the Lexus. If you’re into technology and gadgets and performance then you want the Mercedes at the end of the day Lexus is going to last. Mercedes is designed according to Mercedes Benz to trade in every 4 to 5 years and get a new one but the Lexus you can keep for 25 or 30 years if you want. I’ve had several Mercedes Benz I just got tired of going to the shop every time it had an issue which was plenty! Lexus I just drive it and change the oil they both cost $120,000 but at the end of the day I’m getting more for my money with the Lexus.

The biggest problem with lexus is the technology they use. It's very outdated especially the infotainment system. The current S Class is 7 years old yet the interior design and technology is ahead. The new S comes out soon and then it will be miles ahead yet again. Lexus seems to design their cars for competitors at a point in time. They don't create for the future like Mercedes and BMW and Audi. So then when a new lexus comes out, it is behind the competition because the competition just doesn't stand still. Lexus needs to rethink what they're doing. Their cars are no doubt however built extremely well.

One thing you didn't mention is that on the front grill and back lights, all those patterns are actually formed using the lexus 45° logo. They turned them and rearranged them to be able to form the shapes

In my opinion the NA V8 is better cause it doesn't have the extra strain on the engine and you can just add turbos on the V8 the NA 3.5L V6 with the twin turbos is cool though

No touch screen is a killer for me. When I'm driving I don't want to take my eyes off the road for 10 minutes while I'm playing with a touch pad. Touch the screen once and I can still watch the road.
