I have had my 500h since end of Feb and zero regrets. Note you can program button on steering wheel to change drive modes and stupidly not a default. I have the caviar with red interior, mud flaps option, and optional wheels that look more like tuning forks. Love it.

Toyota/Lexus has been adding hybrids across their line. They are getting serious flak from some of the press about how slowly they are adding pure EV, but I expect they will have the best year in their history in 2024, as their products are well made, and serve the customer well. Not everyone is set up to charge an EV, and long distance travel is not as convenient in an EV. So this product should sell well. We are so early in the EV transition that the price of energy is not posted visibly outside charging stations, and here in CA, where energy prices are fairly high (night time charging is 19 cents/Kwhr), some of the charging stations charge 45 cents/Kwhr, which is a ripoff.

Super excellent machine. I had 2021 GX460 which was heavy on gas so last sept after test drive this RX500h , i just love this. Its performance with power and luxury. Excellent gas mileage and very smooth shifting. Its a big difference from a CVT transmission to this 6 speed. Again its better than my brothers Mercedes. I have taken down lots of v8 on traffic lights. Highly recommend this RX500h.

My wife chose and today ordered this exact vehicle. Copper Crest 2024 RX500 F-Sport, Loaded. She’s not at all aggressive in driving, but this model just did it for her in style and driving dynamics with real wheel turning angle boost, the Hybrid Max set gitty- up. She is a Luxury hybrid vehicle driver, and this model has that….and a sporty edge for surprise. Lexus did a nice job blending Luxury, Performance, and a Quality product in one nice package.

I LOVE Lexus RX, almost everything about it! One thing they can improve on is the tire width, 235 is too narrow for the SUV this size. I'd at least expect 245, but would like 255-265s. Look at your competition. BMW and Mercedes have nice and wide tires that adds so much to their look.

Joe this RX500h is at the top of my list for my next vehicle and you did a fantastic job showcasing it today. The only thing you did not confirm was whether there is an actual spare tire under that rear trunk floor! Also, Lexus has been hiding their exhaust pipes as we move forward to a hybrid/electric future so that these cars will blend more seamlessly.

Joe, I test drove this exact car in this exact colour! my classmate in my MBA program is the Sales Manager at Lexus What blew me away was the adaptive cruise - as soon as the car in front takes off from a stop itn picks up like roller coaster Combined with Brake Hold it would make commuting a lot easier!

It's kind of a moot point, neither the RX 500h or GV80 are real performance SUVs. I'll take the GV80 due to the V6 and exterior. Though both look great. The RX has to be selling like hotcakes, it's everywhere on the roads now.

75K? No way. 46.2 cu ft of cargo space is nothing for a mid size SUV. Those are sub compact numbers. Tires should be 255's for a vehicle this size and weight. BMW X5 for me!

It’s a solid car, the top of the hood looks weird and wish they had exposed exhausts. But honestly the rx is not really a “sports” car, it’s mainly geared for your gramps that want to buy luxurious and comfortable cars that are reliable compared to the Germans. I am also not a fan of everything being touch control.

When I spec out the RX 500 H online it doesn’t give me the option to choose both the Mark lemons and 21 speaker set up with the 14 inch infotainment screen. I have to pick one and the other can’t get added.
