I just ordered the 2025 preferred trend awd. Should be arriving this week. I took it out for a test drive a few days ago. It's such a well equipped car for the money. Can't wait to take delivery on it.

That's exciting! Agree with you on the feature set, it's pretty great what Hyundai is able to do in their cars. Is it the first time that you'll own a Hyundai?

@@CarsWithSteve This will be my second Hyundai. I’m coming from a 2013 Sonata.

@CarsWithSteve, I have to admit, there are some features and design elements about the Sonata that I do quite like and find intriguing. However, when you description says "...showcasing Hyundai wanted to appeal to a younger demographic," I get the sense I'm aging out of that demographic box. I'm not sure I'd want to own one myself. Taken as a whole, the design of the Sonata is much better than a lot of current vehicles I've seen going for the young (the Kia Soul is one whose appeal completely baffles me,) but there's nothing in the Sonata's design that moves me. The Sonata is okay, but it doesn't stir my soul and compel me to go try one.

Coming from the Navigator, I’d say you’d probably be a bigger fan of the Genesis lineup over Hyundai. I’m assuming that’s the target market with the way they decided to design it but it does look better than the soul for sure

Big mistake deleting the hybrid model in Canada. Accord and Camry will scoop up the hybrid sedan market here.

I think it came down to sales numbers. Hybrid sedans just don't seem to sell well right now across all manufacturers
