It’s one of the main things I look for when shopping now. Having kids and no rear vents is not a good combo. My base model f150 crew cab was $10k cheaper than this and it has a v8 and rear vents. Larger, more capable, but less bells and whistles. Less crap to break IMO.

The quality sucks, the price for the 2024 Tacoma Limited i-FORCE MAX is over $57K and there is still no ventilation for the rear seat and no armrests. Production in Mexico, where an employee earns $2.75 per hour of work and after the Tundra accident, i.e. 250,000 trucks have engines that need to be replaced, I will thank you for an engine so complicated and troubled. TOYOTA is ending!

They cannot legally sell brand new vehicles in the US if there is an open recall on it.. They didn't add 2024 because they'd have to stop selling them. They'll recall those in another year or two, and maybe by 2026 it'll be a decent extremely overpriced truck. To think the Tacoma won't have the same problems, when people are already complaining about failing transmissions and such, and Toyota leadership change and market strategy changes and their massive debt.... Toyota isn't who they used to be, don't be fooled.

Sorry, Toyota really fouled up with this one. Tacoma, for thar price ...no ! Good to see they are finally embracing the Hybrid power train BUT ... Toyota engineers screwed up BIG time. With only ONE more MPG in the Hybrid, what the heck were they thinking? HYBRID is for better Fuel Economy not Power output! The tacoma hybrid should get over 30 MPG Easily combined driving. Similar sized SUVs can get 36 MPG with smaller turbo hybrid engine set ups. And those SUVs have beast modes (sport) that has all the power and acceleration you need . So they totally set this system up wrong, so it has no real advantage. Plus they are still using NMh battery instead of lithium, and stick the huge battery under the rear seat, using up all the interior cab storage. That battery needs to be UNDER the truck between the frame rails out of the way . That and get the price back into the 40k range, or you can keep this thing Toyota!
