Still prefer the exterior of the 2nd gen. I'm bothered by the fact that you can't hear the exhaust from the inside, just muffled engine. That said, I wouldn't mind one if a second gen wasn't an option as it still looks nice. CTS is definitely in my top 3 cars.

You can’t hear the exhaust inside the car? That’s news to me, the exhaust and supercharger sound incredible inside the car windows up or down. When he says quiet inside the car he’s taking about other factors such as road noise, wind etc etc. exhaust sounds perfect inside, trust me.

@@JamesAMG In the video, I just hear the intake and supercharger. When the camera is outside the car near the exhaust pipe, it sounds completely different than inside to me. Perhaps one day I'll get to ride in one.

@@LostChildOfTime any well built car will be insulated nicely on the inside. For me the fact that they were able to achieve luxury car quiet, but still make it sound incredible on the inside is part of what makes the car amazing. If it sounded just as crazy inside as it does from an exhaust tip mounted camera then somethings wrong. Maybe in 1960 cars did that, but today high end luxury/performance cars have to have dual personalities. 👍🏼

@@JamesAMG I don't look down on it. I just don't think it's for me. I'd prefer the C6 or C7 since those cars aren't going to be as insulated or again, the V2 CTS-V. It's a nice achievement indeed, but it's one of those cars I'd prefer to have it's exhaust note to not be dampened by luxury standards.

I’ve owned 2 V1’s a 04 an 05 and for there age and platform you definitely feel raw muscle💪🏽 but outta the 3 I feel like but I haven’t had the chance to own a V2 but that’s next on the list personal opinion but I just like the V1-V2 looks an platforms an looks better 💯❗️Ms V1 Moore coming back that’s gonna be a lit 🔥 review 👌🏽

Also, if I may make a suggestion... when filming over bumpy roads, would it be better to use a phone since phones (especially newer ones) tend to have stabilization software? It's a little disorienting to watch footage where the roads are shaking the hell out the camera since it's not mounted. I.e. 11:47
