I just received, or I should say picked up my LT 50 hydraulic with the Accu-Set ll system. I played with it today and that was the most difficult piece. I just watched your tutorial and it is by far the best I’ve seen so far. Thank you!!!!

Thanks for sharing. Learning a lot. Hope you got the hatches battened down and are getting ready for the impending Hurricane/tropical storm. Here in western Virginia we are getting ready.

There is a linear transducer to the left of the scaleboard that tells the Accuset where the head is in reference to the bed. Accuset2 is great!

Good video But you missed the "go to" button If you hit the home button while in the home position it gives you the option to go to a pre selected height. Very handy when edging. I have mine set at 6" 8" 10" and 12"

Your videos are so helpful, and I really appreciate what your family is doing. My wife really likes some of things you wife has posted as well. I try to show her the Woodmizer in action and then she sees your wife’s stuff on the video list and my Woodmizer selling the wife is put on hold. I just can't understand why you do not have more subscribers. You are more helpful and are doing some really cool things. I am thinking about making videos with my woodshop, however, I am not sure about putting myself and property and possible family out there. On one hand I see a youtuber take a piece of plywood and smack a 2x4 with hinges on it as a fold out shop table and that person gets some crazy amount of views in the 100,000's and yet I see a product of value educational wise from you and it gets less action, I just don't get it. Anyway, I am in process of plans to buy a Woodmizer, it will probably be in 12 to 18 months., whenI do, I promise I will let Woodmizer know that your channel sold me the mill. And I will post it to you when that happens. I hope that might help you with sponsorship as your channel grows. God Bless from your fans in the Shenandoah Valley.

Y'all are too sweet, thanks so much. Yeah, the youtubes is a funny place... clearly we haven't figured it out either, but overall we have fun with it. Are you looking to get into it as a main business or side thing? Thanks again for your kind feedback, Sarah :-)

@@charleyandsarah Thanks for your reply. I am a computer programmer who has a nice woodshop and l love to build, and I really dislike programing. Because of the cost of wood and my low furniture making experience, I don't have the wiggle room to take chances on some furniture projects. So, after watching you all and a few others, I started to think about milling my own product. Since trying the idea, I have locked down two tree service companies that have agreed to drop logs to me for free, and I have acquired another 12-16 logs of oak, walnut, and cherry in my neighborhood. To get the logs I had to clear the whole mess, which gave me another 8 cords of wood to heat my house. My family has been pretty happy with those results in a short time. Your videos were very advantageous with how we went about getting wood and wood sources. To make a long story short, I am starting this for a side thing to obtain free woodworking lumber and firewood. But if I can find some solid buyers after I mill and dry all the wood I have, and my tree service sources pay off for a while. Then I will try to find some buyers in Virginia that could expand this idea to a full-time gig, which means I could leave to high stress office. Thanks again for your reply .:-)

When you get to the end of a cut does the Accuset2 raise the head and return the mill, lower the head to correct height for next cut ? You gave me a great understanding of the computer functions but not how it actually works in relation to the mill. Thinking of adding this to an older LT40 if its worth it.

There is a lever to lift the head you hold up until you get high enough then pull another lever to go in reverse. Then hit the down lever, just one quick pulse, and the accuset puts the blade at the next cut for you

I looks like a great feature . My mill is hydraulic up and down but you have to use the magnetic scale . Maybe some day I can upgrade to a better mill. I dealt enjoy milling so I'm willing to work with what I have .

I own an LT 50 with the accuset option. Can't imagine sawing without it! Combined with the wireless remote control it doesn't get and better. Just sit on the tailgate and press buttons while my tail man pulls the boards off.
