I feel death games can be easy to make into a live adaptation because the effects and props needed aren't as crazy as a super natural series, making it feel more real

Definitely most of the stuff needed are not too crazy to make like the apartment scene from this series. It definitely helps makes the series adapt better!

Yeah this a seisen since its directed towards an older male audience.

I couldn`t say it that easily actually...and I normally really hate adaptations...or let`s not say hate. But most of the time for me they are not even half as good as the original. With Alice in Borderland I think it`s very hard because both the manga and the live action show are soooo freaking goog. I loved and binge-watched/read both. They are both good in their own ways. E.g. I like it more in the Manga that the other characters besides Ryohei and Yuzuha (and maybe Shuntaro) get more stories for themselves and on their own but I also like it more in the live action adaptation that we see a bit more of the other games. So it depends on certain characteristics. But both is really great so it`s very hard to say what`s better

I watched the Netflix show first and then I read the manga in it's entirety. I wasn't a fan of the manga in the beginning especially the art. I felt the manga's story and art got better as the story progressed. I did like the live action adaption of the first 30 something chapters better than manga but the second half of the manga that wasn't adapted I thought was tremendous. I will be curious to see how they are able to adapt the second half and whether they will adapt all the side stories. I don't know what the episode count for the second season will be but 8 episodes might be too little in order to adapt the rest if you include the side stories. I fear that the second season will be too rushed.

Yeah the artist definitely one of the weaker points of the manga. I haven't got to the point where I'm past the anime yet so once I get beyond that point I'll see the parts you're talking about. But if what you say is true then I'm very excited to see how the second season goes because like you said it very easily could go south that they rush it. Hopefully that does not happen but when you're trying to make money you'll make some stupid decisions sometimes.

Did they ended up rushing Season 2? Were you satisfied with the Season 2? It is worth watching or does continuing from the manga makes more sense after Season 1?

Yeah most live action dubs are unbearable whether good or I can't comprehend the lips not matching up with the audio.

I enjoyed the live action so much that I got the spoilers from the manga since I am excited for season two. Wait whoa, there is more action in the live action? I thought the manga was more detailed, like we see Saori's first game. (Btw, Saori seems more likable in the manga). Anyway, the first game (with the doors) was well executed in terms of acting, but why would that game just be ranked a 3 of clubs? That game is purely best on luck, and even with Arisu as a cheat code. I think it should be a 7 of clubs. Now for the 2nd game (5 of spades), did you notice that the taggers have no way of surviving. If they win, the building still explodes.

The manga does have alot more detail but I liked the flow of the live action. It gave enough to relate and feel like we know the characters. I think only reason it was is because the manga was the same difficulty to not deviate too far from the manga. Since it already was different game. Yeah I thought about that once either way they were screwed which is a bit unfair and most of the game didn't deliberately screw players.

The manga suggests that the taggers' objective was to eliminate all the players before the timer ran out. Once they did that, the bombs would probably be defused by the gamemaster.
