Well the engine has been upgraded with the mild hybrid system that helps with fuel economy and performance as it is able to produce up to 20hp extra in short boosts. Plus the tech is all new

The rear cup holder is designed/engineered that way. Push once and the cell phone holder appears. Twice and then the cup holder appears.

Yes, however it can be tricky as i have been in many mercedes vehicles with the same feature and it gets stuck. Maybe people push them in too hard.

What’s the trim on this called? I love it! I wish the c class would have had massaging seats as an option but an executive I spoke with said it won’t. I wonder why the speaker covers aren’t aluminum like the other models.

Not sure if thats what you mean by "trim" but its the amg line which is why it looks more aggressive, and to your second question: the speaker covers are only aluminium if you pick the the more expensive burmester sound system

This is the exclusive trim if thats what you are asking but the outside styling is AMG

@@followingcrypto8646 there are 3 different trims for the W205 C Class. AMG-Line and Night package are just design add-ons. The higher the trim the more the feature in the tech-side of the car. They are Premium, Exclusive and Pinnacle

MB have lost the plot with the fixed pricing in Australia. Definitely not a good value for money.For the same price you can get a Bimmer 340i.

Oh, what is "fixed pricing"? Here in US there is about 10k difference between base c300 and base m340, however you do get more standard features with BMW. It will be more comparable to c43 and there is no ETA or pricing here so far.

For the price of a loaded C300 you can get a M340i here in the USA also.

@@MercOne that is true. Base M340 starts at $54,700. The C300 that is in the video was $53,800. I guess depending on what you want: performance or features

@@MattTheCarguy The drive away price is determined by MB Australia and is non negotiable.You cannot get a Benz through a car broker or negotiate a deal directly with MB dealership. On top of that they’ve jacked up the prices before the fixed pricing model kicked in. For comparison the A35 in December drive away price was $76000 Aud( could’ve be bought for 72-73k after negotiating with the dealerships), now it’s around $85000- non negotiable.😏There is an ongoing lawsuit between MB dealerships in Australia and Mercedes Benz. The dealerships are asking for $650 million Aud compensation as they would not be franchisees no more,but selling agents. The C200 is priced at $90k and the C300-$103k Aud.

Well, c class has been referred as "baby s -class" for few generations now. It is because of the styling similarities, but in this generation it is also because it is outside the s-class the only vehicle with the new vertical screen. Mercedes does that, so people who are new to Mercedes brand and buy the entry level c class are impressed and more likely upgrade to higher trims later. But frankly there is a huuuuuge gap between the two. Thanks for watching!

times are changing.... same happened when they took 8 tracks, than cassette players now CDs. Its all digitized now. I believe only Lexus has the CD player in 2023 and not on all models.

I am hugely dissapointed by this car, I drove it and realised that benz has become a badge, BMW is doing an excellent Job, this car is not comfortable AT ALL something you wouldn't expect from benz, the BMW 330i shines over this, significantly.

BMW has always been "sportier" but i found the ride in this c class comfortable. Seats are firm but you can opt in for the leather interior which will be more "plush". As far as technology it beats BMW "hands down" in my opinion. The MBUX is the best infotainment in industry. But with that said everyone likes different things thats why there are so many options available.

@@MattTheCarguy BMW is pro Sport and Mercedes benz is pro luxury, right, the latter isn't true for this generation and yes I was driving an almost fully loaded one (with leather seats) the G20 330i feels more comfortable and accomplished, I wouldnt care about technology, comfort to me is ride quality not gizmos, BMW is hitting hard, lately and I'm not even a die hard BMW person, I own the G20 and was interested in this car, I have always owned both, i have the outgoing model, but im not getting this..
