Awesome as usual from both Joe & Lori! This is my 'go to' auto review channel! I think that you really did an awesome job of opening up the vehicle in the different drive modes. I've worked up here in Canada for Nissan for over 10 years, and just as they did with the Rogue, this new Pathfinder is really going to do well. Considering that up here a fully blown out Explorer is going to run up to $68,000 and this Platinum Pathfinder will top out at about $50K, value is clear !! Great point also about the quieter cabin due to additional sound deadening and laminated glass. One day Nissan will wake up and go with Ventilated 2nd row seats, but given all of the safety shield technology (including 11 air bags in the platinum) and standard equipment, you really should check it out before making your final decision.

I have a 2012 Nissan Sentra S with over 220,000 miles on it. Never had an issue with the original CVT. I changed the fluid every 60,000 miles as required in the owner’s manual. Nissan is capable to be reliable as Toyota and Honda. You haters should learn how to read a manual and drive a car properly and you won’t have any problems long term.

The previous Pathfinder also had a 6,000-pound tow rating. The difference here is, I suspect most drivers will be a lot more confident about approaching the tow limit rating with a "real" automatic transmission versus the CVT.

Raites rides, This guy is very informative about every vehicle that a test drives shows you everything about it likes and dislikes. The only thing that I find wrong with it is when he gets to MSRP, he gives you the right price but he doesn't tell you of all the ad on's that you have to pay which can total up to over $6000 in any dealership they are ripping the public off they are making you pay for everything. Not just the floormats but double floormats the vinyl ones the big ones like weathercheck they're adding that oh yeah and also a first aid kit and then a seal coat that they charge is $2000 which if you check a seal coat is around 5 to $700 if you have it done yourself they charge you for the lock nuts on your wheels prep charges is the biggest rip off. Don't get me wrong this gentleman does a very very good job at what he does he shows you likes and dislikes as I've said before But I wanted to bring it to your attention you're not gonna walk out the door MSRP plus tax it'll be M SRP And then tax they're all doing it because they're in short supply and they can charge whatever they want so this Pathfinder which I looked at is beautiful MSRP 45000 out the door with all the tax and add ons you're looking at 54000.. Just think about it. Please get educated a little bit about the car before you go out there and talk to a dealer nobody likes to talk to these sales people they're all rip off artists. I just want to make you aware if you're not already

Nissan did a really good job bringing the Pathfinder back to its original form. The previous generation tried to look sporty and upbeat, but at the end of the day, its just a heavy plastic egg with a CVT. This is a big improvement from Nissan, and I hope to see more products like it soon!

U might be able to get 1 inch taller springs maybe 1.5 maybe 2 but once the car been released for 6 months or a year mods might come out. Custom fabrication shops might be able to do something. Or u can try sticking bigger wheels and tires 21 inch rims with huge tires and it might raise the car half inch or an inch

55 profile tires 65 or 75, might not be recommended to go over 80 in them but it can raise the car plenty

Hands down Palisade any day !

Much better mileage than the 2006 and 2012 Pathfinders I had (Both 4WD) Hopefully this one has at least the quality my 2006 had. Will it be as reliable as a Toyota 4 Runner (300,000 miles +) with little to no problems? As much as I love my trouble free 2017 Toyota 4 Runner TRD this new Pathfinder with updated features and interior sure looks nice.

The Sorento has a little less cargo space in the back but the 3rd row is actually usable. I can sit back there for drives ok but in this I would be tight and I’m about 5’7-5’8. If you need more cargo space and don’t. Plan on using your 3rd row go with this. If you want 3rd row usability go with Sorento. I believe it has the best 3rd row for these compact 3 row SUV’s. 👍
