Great channel bro, thank you for sharing! Hows the truck transmission? Any issues?

Not apples to apples, but it would be interesting to see how long a portable Milwaukee M18 Inflator would take to do the same job (for someone that isn't airing down often enough to justify the expense of the ARB setup)
@CanadianCruisin2 ай бұрын
@user-fq3uh7bt1t I've heard those Milwaukee Inflators are pretty decent. It should be ok for the odd time out adventuring
@Meatwadk62 ай бұрын
To go from 15 to 35 it will take a 2-3 minutes per tire with the M18. It works but you will either need multiple batteries or a 9ah/12ah battery if you need to air up more than once. For what it’s worth, I have the M12, M18, arb single and the newest Morflate (don’t recall the model, but it has the lcd where you set the desired psi). The morflate is designed to air up all four tires at once. It is faster and quieter than the others. It airs my all four tires at once on my titan xd from 20 to 65 psi in less than 8 minutes.

I have the arb single tube compressor it seems to work great for me maybe not as fast as yours but it does the job fairly quick for me I'm on 285/75r16's myself. I don't have a arb front locker but I know people that do and they work great but the installation in the differential is not very easy at all.
@CanadianCruisin2 ай бұрын
@thedude828-ed2nn yeah the front locker is definitely a big job. If I ever decide to go that route I'd be letting the professionals do it.

After I watched your install vid for that compressor, I thought I'd mention that it may not fit in that location on 22-24 Nissan Frontiers, if they have the auto adjusted cold weather vanes behind the front grill.
@CanadianCruisin2 ай бұрын
@gnic76 i believe it still fits but it would be set between the radiator and the louvers for the grille. But don't quote me on that lol
@Blue-moon122 ай бұрын
@gnic76 what auto adjusted veins? I don't think I've heard of this. Thanks
@gnic762 ай бұрын
@@Blue-moon12 Cold weather package, might not have been available on the 22/23 but my 24 has them. Sits between front grill and rad, supposed to auto adjust air flow. If in a Northern climate (most of Canada, lol) helps engine warm up faster.
@Blue-moon122 ай бұрын
@gnic76 Oh! Thanks. No, my 2023 doesn't have that. I'm in Alberta so it would be most welcomed ha
@gnic762 ай бұрын
@@Blue-moon12 That's where I'm as well. Definitely helps on cool mornings to warm it up faster. I've got the Pro4x.

Can the alternator keep up,I wish my 22 frontier had a way to raise the idle when running my inverter,thanks

@dlansburg2673 so far it seems to be doing good but I'll have to see what happens over time.

@CanadianCruisin dang, watching these casted from phone and was commenting on another video. Ended up here for some reason. Yours was the next video in line to watch. Your dual unit compressor is a touch faster than my single, but works the range way.
