Hey, I just wanted to let you know I ordered that v 32 finally, with your code, I'm happy to support you. I just had one question. What do you feel about layering? Just tried to do lemons, but it didn't work as well as I thought It would, but maybe I just needed more drying time. I did three levels of lemons in the tray using nylon mesh that I use for my dehydrator. just wondering if youve ever tried this before and if you've had success. Thanks

I have done layering before using parchment paper. With very wet foods like lemons, I would suggest only 2 layers and smaller sized pieces. Every time you cut a food it exposes one additional side for moisture to escape.

Trying to remember the company you used for the specialty custom pre printed Mylar bags? Can’t seem to find where you have your green and white long term food storage bags made?

We use a manufacturer and order in very large quantities. That is really the only way to get custom printed bags. It's not very cost effective for orders under 10,000 bags 🤪

What's your thoughts about this GS53 vs the Euro version, the ES41? I see the GS53 can seal 12" wide bags where the ES41 apparently can only do 10 or 10.5" wide bags? Any other thoughts between the two? Thank you in advance, CC

I have owned both now and the gs53 is better in my opinion. The controls are quirky on the euro.

The GS53 is not available on the Avid Armor site or Amazon. It looks like it's been replaced by the GS41?

No. This uses a standard 110 outlet

Can it do full gallon sized Mylar bags?

A full gallon mylar bag is 10”x14” with the shorter being the critical length for determining the width of the sealer. Both of these will accommodate the gallon bag, but the V32 is a bit shorter so the 14” long gallon bag may require somewhat flexible contents.
