I have had loads of shotguns and i just picked up a 694 sporter and it handles incredibly well. Very well balanced, the long forcing cones really smooths out any recoil and patterns well. BIG tick from me. 100% Beretta.

Being in the main a field shooter rather than a clay shooter I opted for a Browning Cynergy Black Ice and used it for 6 years as my "bush gun" with a smattering of clays thrown in. A truly remarkable gun - light and snappy, easy to mount rapidly and with the stock adjusted to my posture it was brilliant. The recoil reduction system worked well compared to other guns I had the use of so I can say it really did reduce the felt recoil substantially. Then along came the Beretta 694 pro sporter with the TSK fully adjustable stock - I had the opportunity to try one at the clay range and immediately ordered one from my dealer. I was surprised at how light the gun felt while being heavier than my Browning, it mounted so smoothly and precisely to where I was looking (all my shotgun shooting is gun down) - the gun discharged almost without me being aware that I had fired a shell. Sadly, it is not a composite, and I am not happy dragging it out in the field, but when a gun fits this well and shoots so accurately to the point of sight, I will risk it. I cannot say it is better than my old Cynergy, but it is growing on me and the first outing at the clay range gave 88% which is right there in the ball-park with the gun I have been using for 6 years, no doubt the percentage of kills will increase as I become more familiar with the new gun. Now a little slap on the wrist. Safety glasses at the range please...

When I lost the adjustable trigger screw recently during a round of clays, I tried two friends guns and was surprised how light the recoil of my 694 was in comparison. Really love the 694

I’m looking to buy my first gun and was lucky enough that my local shooting club had both second hand B725 and the 694 available. In terms of breaking clays not much in it but the 694 just handled/felt so much nicer. Not sure whether it was down to how the guns had been set up but the Browning just felt a bit of a lump!

I've had 2 brownings and 2 beretta's, I prefer beretta in general and looking to upgrade to potentially a 694 or Dt11. Current gun is a browning Gp I preferred that over the silver pigeon purely on looks. Previously owned a browning medallist, beretta 687 (late 80s) and 682 gold E. Only sold the 682 because I moved overseas.

Yildiz are entry level guns for learning to shoot or a good cheap gun for Club Shooting. And as George Digweed says it not the gun but the person shooting it that wins the trophy. I bet George could shoot a 100 straight with a £500 gun just as easily as with a £150,000 custom gun.

I shot both Browning and Beretta when taught in Shooting schools. Browning is solid and 725 was my first every try at clay shooting, rather good. But in the end I bought Beretta 694 ACS version 32” this Feb (bought Teague extended ported chokes). Put through a couple of thousands shells so far. Tho not a lot, I like it quite a bit. Cannot say it will beat DT11 as I handled a second hand one @Essex Guns, felt superior and even more balanced. But DT11 even second hand is 50% more money on average than new 694. Started thinking about Kick Eez as a recoil pad upgrade if I keep shooting 350 cartridges in 3hrs. The adjustable rib is nice and can adjust POI. However I did ask GMK gunsmith to apply silicone at the back screw as it came loose at a point. This won’t be an issue if yours is Not a ACS version. Overall, in my opinion, 694 is a winner in the mid market for clay shooters…

I have a Browning that fits me perfect. I also have 3 Beretta's that fit me perfect. However 2 of those Beretta 686's (20 and 12) have adjustable combs installed and a years worth of experimenting to get them tuned for Fit. The one Beretta I didn't need to have an adjustable comb installed proved to have a Browning Fit right out of the box. That one is a Silver Pigeon III Sporting 2 barrel set in 28 and 410. I've looked at several Silver Pigeon III's at my club and all of the recent production guns feature a higher comb. It seems that Beretta is learning slowly that their combs are a bit low and are moving towards correcting that. Another example of this is that about 1/2 the 694's in the USA for sale have an adjustable comb installed.

I’ve up graded as I’ve gone along and had 682 e/692 and for the last 2 years had a 694 with 32 inch barrels. Very popular gun and a big seller. But, the one's that I have handled have had a few issues. In my experience the 694 Is very fussy about which brand of cartridges it likes to eject. Some brands of cartridges will not eject properly or not at all. Also the chambers are quite tight and it's tough to load some brands of cartridges. This causes the Ejectors to skip by the spent hulls and stick the spent cartridge hulls below the Ejectors and above the cartridge rim. I've had this happen several times. It's not pleasant. I've sent the gun back to the distributor and they stated that there is nothing wrong. But the issues persist. This is on a brand new shotgun. Less than 100 cartridges through it. It's back at the distributor again. Hopefully this issue will be fixed soon.

I have just bought a 694 replacing my Browning 725s , I think they are both very good guns with the beretta 694 just out classing the browning. David you forgot to mention that the 694 has the stellium barrels and the b fast system to alter the balancing

I bought a CZ Supreme field for hunting and skeet here in the States. Which has so far been a fantastic little gun. But i haven't seen almost any shooting reviews on CZ break action guns. Do you guys ever see CZ guns on your island? What's your perspective on CZ if you do?

Hi Folks, I have a 694 32'' and love it. Has anyone had it balanced as mine is a little front end heavy?

If I’m not mistaken, there should be stock weights in the box? That being said a lot of berettas are barrel heavy. When I balanced my DT10 I just packed the stock bolt hole with tissue and placed a 32g cartridge in it.

I put a magnum catridge in my new silver pigeon and it balances on the hinge pin now. I handled a 525 it had no feeling of balance at all compared to the SP...even before the added weight.!!

Browning & Miroku are definitely better value, but if you want sleek, sexy, and a bit more speed, it's worth that extra bob for a Beretta.

I do like the 694 it’s about time beretta offered it in a black action or with engraving probably one of the most popular guns in its price bracket a DT11 killer I regret not buying one when they first came out !

Good video but it lacks detail, no mention of stock measurements, i.e. length of pull, comb height, wood grade, barrel details, how many chokes and what restrictions come as standard, type of recoil pad, etc. It would be nice for you to give more of the important information for perspective buyer rather than a basic review and going out smashing clays, that doesn't help anyone who might be looking at buying this particular model...

There is no question if you are a competitive shooter Imo between those two. Brownings are a a gun from the past struggling to follow up the the others. Beretta Perazzi will always be in the podiums around the world

Beretta due to massive sponsor deals and perazzi because of the full custom fit offers/after care, browning/miroku design hasn't been changed because it works, miroku 3800 has just about as many medals under it than any of them, And perazzi design is ancient so not sure what you mean by keeping up with them

Beretta or Browning? I have a Citori CX and a 682 Gold E. They feel completely different from each other in the hand. Which do I prefer? I like both of them equally; no preference. They both break birds with alacrity. By the way, we don't watch your vids to watch you shoot. We watch to get information/opinions on the gun.

My view on the sky and may be slightly different. I do find the reviews and comments from those in the states from those in Europe to be slightly different. We all know the play presentations in Spain in Europe are quite different than those in the states, so perhaps that’s the main difference. I will start with Briwning vs.Beretta. Pick whichever one suits your fancy. I own both, and for different reasons. I do have a 694 and I love it. I use it for sporting and fire stand. I hate it for skeet. I think the sights 94 is very smooth and steady, but too slow for skeet. I use a field grade Browning for skeet, and score exceptionally well. As for your constant complaint that the comb is too low, it is not as low as a Browning, although it is slightly lower than any field grade Beretta. I find it to be exceptionally unfair to give a negative remark to a gun for its stock dimensions. If that gun doesn’t fit you, you can have a gun changed and feed it to you, and in the case of a Beretta, you can order one that knows that does fit you.
