The perfect soft top would be if Bestop would do a normal square back version of their Trektop Pro, as opposed to the slantback they have. THAT would be perfection. Soft top weight and versatility with the added benefit of a solid back window that opens like a hardtop rear window.

Always wanted a hard top. Instead I got a JL with a soft top, based entirely on availability...then realized the soft top is where it’s at! Love the freedom because FL weather is too unpredictable. I hope Cassie enjoyed it...I stick my hands out the air-roof ALL. THE. TIME. 🤩

I love the hard top for winter in Virginia. I swap to the soft top in late spring. I have a love/hate relationship with the rain in VA. I love all of the green in VA because of the rain. Draw back is that I do not get to run with the top down as much as I would like to in the summer.

I really love my Rampage Trailview Cargo Top. It has a tonneau cover for the cargo area and gives it a truck look. It also has by far the best visibility of any top I’ve seen before.

Definitely the most versatile top but as far as the best, idk. I'm partial and shamelessly biased towards the Trektop Pro...best of both worlds. Tempered glass zipperless panels, sunrider & bikini mode! I will say this, the Super Ultra would look badass with a set of Core Doors!

@@JKGearandGadgets I LOVE my Core Doors! Cast aluminum, they weigh next to nothing. Half door/trail door....running them full time. Seals up tight, no leaks. If you haven't seen em up close yet, Jason from Autoedits has em & I believe you'll be running Trail To SEMA with him.

I just like the light weight of the soft top. It's all moot anyway, since one of the items I'd like to eventually get is one of those Grenadeacorp hidden storage bins, and those are designed for the hard top only...

I just installed the Bestop Trektop Pro today and I love it. I do love your safari top look but having the hybrid , with hard slide windows and a hard back window is the best. Glad I got mine but yours is nice too. Haha

My 2016 Unlimited came with factory half doors. Living here in Miami, I ride Safari look most of the time (no door windows, side curtains, no rear window. On the down side is security.

I bought this top at 4wheel Parts Truckfest. The vendor rep cut me a deal on top of the discounted price. I love the top. The only issues I have are that the windows do not work with the besttop window bag that I had bought to store the windows in for my original softtop, and the front wants to sit on top of the front seal so you have to pull it back. Mine ripped the front seal but still no leaks yet.

It’s like a clone of the premium soft top for the JLUR.. I have one of the first 2018 JLU Rubicon’s that hit the streets. I built it on the computer in early January 2018 and received on February 28 2018. I also have a 2 door manual JK. The Rubicon is the eight speed automatic so the whole family can drive it.(even though I was pissed because I wanted the manual). I have owned a CJ-7 and 4 Wranglers and always got just the soft top. I hate the hardtop - it’s expensive, it’s a pain in the ass to take it off and store it, and it’s not really more quite than a good soft top. I also think a Jeep looks much better with a soft top!!!!😀. That’s just me🤪. And to answer Krashnpa’s and Matt Bededum comments it doesn’t flap around at all in any position you put it in and looks awesome and is as quite as the stupid hardtop.

The trek top does flap around. Annoying as hell. My jeep came with hard top. I find it quieter but I bought the full soft top this go around. Here in Illinois you NEED a hard top to stay warm. Couldn't imagine 5" of frozen snow on my soft top

JL's Jk I live on Long Island NY and have owned a Jeep with only soft top for 27 years. 1 CJ-7 2 TJ’s 1 JK and 1 JLUR. I have lived here for over 43 years and it can get and has been extremely cold. All Jeeps always have great heating. Never had a hardtop and never would I change that. The soft top has always been more than enough to daily drive every Jeep I owned all year round. And I never mentioned the Trek top and never owned one.

Not gonna lie it seems as if it just a jk version of the brand new Jl soft top wrangler there’s no zippers or anything all a rail system. I have a 2019 2 door Jl mojito sport wrangler with the soft top and it’s by far the best one they have ever had Made. I be rocking the Safari look on mine all the time it’s cool as hell

I have a Bestop NX Plus and I love it. Do miss being able to access the trunk as easy like the hard top. This was a good choice for you. Only thing I majorly don't like about the JL top is that stupid "safari" top over the trunk. Looks weird and reminds me of outdoor furniture, like the awning that covers a glider lol Unfortunately, Bestop followed suit. At least there's other functions of the top

Only issue with soft top is security, but if a person wants to get in your rig they’re going to get into it regardless. Looking forward to my trektop ultra. I know y’all fast forwarded it but dam y’all made it seem super easy. This is the first time noticing the PSC crusher corners. Was it pretty simple? Have you thought about adding a snorkel? If you have already since this 5-6 months ago just ignore the question. Trektop has the bikini look, but I like the safari top look also.

I currently run a Sunrider for hardtop. My one concern about the Ultra soft top is you can’t operate the sunrider feature from inside the Jeep because it opens up into the back area. Otherwise it’s a great soft top that I would definitely consider.

Love the material and the pockets above the visors! Not the top for me though, the over hang on the back doesn't do it for me.
