Big 10 and SEC should break off and do a super league. However, no one from any other conference should schedule any games with them. Let's see how their Ferrari runs with 3 wheels.

Guys; Penn St is another example. Even though they are putting $700m into Beaver Stadium, they are keeping most of their roster and spending $3m on Knowles as Defensive Coordinator. One big advantage the B1G has ( and is under reported) is their presence in the Top 3 TV Markets in America. If I am a Broadcaster or Advertiser I want and will pay for that.

Great point!

That is exactly what top studio execs said when signing with the B1G. They were very excited about going from NYC (Rutgers) to Chicago (NW) to LA.

It is a simple fact of the matter that you need money to compete no matter which conference you play in. B1G/SEC or any G# conference. If you don't invest in your on-field product, then you'll struggle to compete. Just curious how things will pick up after the House Settlement is finally taken care of.

money......MONEY!!!!! will determine the teams with talent but the blue bloods will still rise to the top.

The Big Ten will probably try and merge with the SEC and kick out the weaker teams like Vandy and Purdue.

The Big Ten and SEC AD's are meeting next month to discuss the future of College Football. We will do an episode about that shortly.

That's not happening .

Here is where I disagree. You are seeing traditional weak sisters like Indiana, NU ( $800m new stadium) and even Vanderbilt ( $300m renovation) putting money into the football program. Others like Kansas, Fresno St, USF and Memphis doing the same so they can move up.

Not sure I agree with this sentiment. I cannot see Fox and ESecPN being bed mates no matter what.

I.U. and Mark Cuban dumped Millions into the program and the worst Team in College Football History made the CFP and oh yeah I.U. SUCKS!
