Awesome flying. I have owned two 78” stretched to 80” Dave Platt T-28s that I built with Super Tiger 2500 glow motors with Robert Retracts and a Byron Originals 102” version T-28 with a 78cc gas twin cylinder Engine that I also built. All 15:17 flew excellent. When I saw the Carbon 2 meter T-28 I wanted another one. I sold off all my gassers and really missed the T-28. Now I’m different than you, and love the yellow Navy paint scheme. I look forward to flying it soon after Christmas . The 80” versions had weighed in at around 15 pounds all up, so I’m assuming this bird weighs a whole lot less and should fly like a home sick angle.

Thank you! You are correct about the weight, this model is 12lbs with a 6s 5000mah. You’re gonna love it, tons of power and it flies like all t-28s I have flown….. AWESOME! I appreciate you for watching and taking the time to comment!

Thanks brother! Hard to give up on the Tomcat, I still have the 80mm I'm gonna bring to the channel. But the 64mm was not properly fudged for RC sizing. Accident waiting to happen. Thanks for watchin and commenting. Planning to try to fly with you Monday night, see you then!

Awesome job on the camo scheme! Looks SO much better than the yellow! Looks likeshe flies great!

Much appreciated! In my opinion they would sell sooooo many more if they did something like this. I highly recommend the plane if you have a place big enough to fly it. I really hope they offer other Carbon-Z warbirds in this size! Thanks for watchin and taking the time to comment!

@@redbeardreviewsrc I agree. Even the white and red T-28 scheme would probable sell better. Nothing paint can't fix though... :)

@@RCJetPilot75 They did the white and red scheme on the V1. If they did a camo some of us would change it anyway, just to not be the same as everybody else. I really appreciate decal options as well! Thanks again for stoppin by the channel! Have a great Sunday sir!

@RCJetPilot75 I really like this yellow version. It helps my old man's eyes see it in the air, no matter the sky conditions.🤪

Throw a 100 amp avian in it the 70 amp lite is pushing it marginal at best considering it’s the same sec they use in the 1.2 version best flying plane ever though

Thank you for the heads up! Wish I knew that earlier, I would have taken some off the rating. Pretty cheap on their part! Have many flights on yours? Thanks for watchin and commenting!

@@redbeardreviewsrc that’s one of the first thing I did .doing the landing gear now . But even swinging the stock prop anything over half throttle an my esc was running hot 195 plus degrees

@@Tanker831 I noticed my motor was pretty warm the other day... Gonna watt check the beast next time I get it out. What are you doing to the gear?
@Tanker8312 ай бұрын
@@redbeardreviewsrc getting rid of the stiff piano wire style gear and putting olio style landing gear to soften the landings and get rid of the obnoxious rattle sound it makes while taxing . You can buy the mains from I think it’s the fms 1.7 m p51 I’m still trying to find a good replacement for the nose gear because all of them you have to run a smaller nose wheel and I don’t really like that

Congratulations on your new plane! Beautiful maiden flight followed by a textbook landing. 👍🏾 I love mine. Here's mine with a three-blade propeller: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eIPLoKGirdNqotEsi=FHVbMy0EFrnJciiY I highly recommend getting a quick connector cable to clean up the spaghetti of servo cables that came with the plane and to make it easy and faster to get it ready for action. I also recommend you to get a set of soft tires for it at Horizon Hobby. Thumbs-up for your video 👍🏾 Have a great rest of your day 😁 Greetings from Douglas, Arizona 🌵🌵😁👍🏾🇵🇷 Like#12 P.S. On my T28 video description, I posted a link fit the quick connector cable I got for my plane. I hope that you can get one. You can thank me later...

Much appreciated sir! I tried a 14x7 Master Airscrew but it was slower than I prefer so I may go with a 15x7 with the upgraded speed controller. Have you found the ESC getting hot? Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment!
