A premium, full-metal G-SHOCK MR-G timepiece for the sea - the titanium armor-clad, airtight MRGBF1000 with ISO 200-meter water resistance joins the FROGMAN family of full-fledged diver’s watches.
This MR-G diver’s watch takes the unique asymmetrical design, screw-lock case back and distinctive diving frog character - which were so popular when FROGMAN came out back in 1993 - to a whole new level.
Originally produced in resin, the complex design has now been remade in titanium, with each component crafted separately and polished meticulously for an entirely new feel of high-end quality. The watch is built with an intricate combination of over 70 exterior components, including an O-ring waterproof seal to deliver outstanding FROGMAN water resistance and special buffers to strengthen the shock-resistant structure - all while maintaining the beauty of form the MR-G line is known for.
For enhanced strength, we’ve developed a protective structure with fluoro rubber buffers installed between the multiple bezel parts. This structure features face-guarding functionality that helps to absorb shocks from the front and the sides, as well as protecting the crystal.
The dedicated MR-G module features a gold-plated retainer plate. The screw-lock case back is fit with sapphire crystal finished in vibrant blue vapor deposition and engraved with the iconic FROGMAN diving frog character.
Dura Soft, a durable and comfortable fluoro rubber, is used for the band, and Ti64 titanium alloy for the buckle and band loop. Simply remove the side pins while pressing the buttons on the lugs’ undersides to quickly and easily swap out the band.
More than just handsome, this timepiece provides superior functionality, as well. Equipped with Bluetooth®, the hour and minute hands overlap and work in unison to form a single hand when in diving mode, making the time spent underwater (minutes) easy and intuitive to see and delivering high visibility. Download the dedicated app to pair with your smartphone and easily display tide data for more than 3,000 locations around the world. Check dive logs on your smartphone and get more details on data tracked by your watch.

Polite Blue aka Tudor pelagos FXD , my triple pelagos collection is ideal up until Tudor makes a pelagos GMT then I'll need another. Fan of casio but for some reason I put a ceiling on purchases at around 1k its self imposed & doesn't speak to their quality.. great video.

I prefer the digital D1000 frog (I have the D1000B). Analogue g shocks to me just don't feel like a g shock 🤷🏻‍♂️

I think for a 6.5" it most likely wil be way too big. Otherwise, 7" or greater ... its such a great watch in everyway. Homerun for Casio.

It's just a cool watch, not necessarily the smartest or classy looking but still an awesome looking watch, I think it is so large as it's designed to be used by divers wearing diving gloves under water, if it had small buttons it would be difficult to use

While I adore some of the way that it looks, I have the Borneo frog for a quarter of the price and just as good quality. Would they have added 300 m of water resistance this would’ve been a home run

On the regular analogue frogman, and I presume this one too, the stopwatch is utterly useless because they chose to put it on the small dial instead of the big dial, so it's unreadable, not only unreadable but the little am/pm indicator obliterates some of the markers, so it's pointless. And I see that on this MR-G the little dial doesn't even have markings AT ALL. So how does the stopwatch work here? Also, I've got great eyesight but I'm damned if I can read the day of the week. Good luck with the alleged tide graph features too.

Casio could at least have used a 262K quartz crystal for better accuracy, at this price point. Longines, Bulova and others can do it, for cheaper. It's overkill.

Tbh it doesn't look that massive on your wrist. It's a frogman, it's supposed to be large. But you can pull it off nicely.

I am wearing my Apple Watch Ultra. This one gets more wrist time than any of my autos. It is always perfect and keeps me conmected without constantly getting my phone out. The pushers are operable under water, right? If this had been available when I was actively diving a month every year, I would have definitely grabbed it!

I don't like. First of all it's got a date window, everyone wants to loose the date window. But most of all no LCD screen. It's a G-Shock it needs a digital display to deal with all it's complications.
