Great comparisons. That gimbal is quite huge. For a retirees like me I don't think I could carry that thing for a long period of time. Although you won't get professional results w/out a gimbal, in most cases such as running along side with my grandchildren. It is much faster to get going and shoot with an image stabilized camera and lens. I used an Olympus mft cameras for my run and gun and a Sony on a tripod. OM system and Panasonic mft cameras IBIS are superb.

Exactly! Agree on all points. That's why I compared the gimbal to handheld instead of comparing it to another gimbal. This is video is mainly for people who are on the fence if buying a gimbal will be worth it for them. For me, when taking videos of family, especially in travel, I also shoot handheld all the time.
