Is there a Corona Virus problem here in Chefchaouen, Morocco? Is it safe to travel here? I talk with locals to see just they know about this panic-driven epidemic!

I love how he speaks to Moroccan people in English and actually doesn't know that they probably only understand 5% of what he's saying. Which is most definitely the case for the first guy in the video. People are just being nice and actually taking the time to answer his questions although they are really struggling with the language. They rather say they don't know so he can let them at peace lol.
@moroccobydrone83034 жыл бұрын
True, but It's OK remember, most Americans speak only one language so if they struggle to communicate with him that's already a plus for them
@amine485204 жыл бұрын
@@moroccobydrone8303 Exactly, most Americans speak only English and they expect the whole world to understand them lol. So I was asking viewers to not judge the Moroccans because I know that most of them don't speak English...

Middle age running away. Sir, you look such a nice guy, you're talking about the Coronavirus but you are not taking care of yourself and of those people you are interviewing, precautions, precautions precautions... For your safety and the safety of those people try not to shake hands, keep at least 1.5 metre from them, you know the rest... you maybe carrying the virus, they maybe carrying it, so stay safe. Oh, by the way welcome to Morocco Sir.👍

If you need anything just ask ppl ..i think they will help you and me too even if its too hard to go out... i will try my best 😉

Yes, it's hard I am actually far from Medina but I'm in a popular place even if a lot of markets are closed we steel find some that are open ..and it's crazy how things changed so fast ...I think it is so hard for u as tourist more than me ..but u can go to supermarkets like 'marjane' or you can ask about food delivery services... best wishes!
Thanks for sharing your video. Can you put a map link as to where Mehdi's art gallery is? I might visit next year. I liked that art piece you were pointing at.

Hi my friend, I met you today at the gate of the Medina in Rabat you and your Canadian friend, terry if I well remember his name, as you Can see, I checked your channel, it's amazing, keep going, but I noticed some negative points in this video about Corona virus in chefchaoun, 1st : you were checking hands with people in time everybody says that this is the way the virus spreading. 2nd : these people knew about the virus more than what they showed to you, but they had this language problem, cause as you know English is the second fourring language here, and normally when you don't know how to express yourself you said "I don't know..." or I don't care " just for escaping from the question. Have a good time body and enjoy your forced journey here in Rabat.

Hamid ELMAKKAOUI hey! My name is Terry- my Canadian friend is Ryan. Thanks for the comment! At that time I wasn’t taking the virus too seriously. Fast forward three days and I see it differently of course. As for the language barrier, I suppose that was the case with some of them.

I think that the situation is more serious in the bigg cities . Currently everyone is home making the containment no actions , no activities everything is closed schools , bars everything.. . The people's reactions in Chefchaouen are indifferent to the subject for the one reason that they live in a touristical zone and this is something weird and oroginal in the area to not say in Morocco in general . However people in the bigg cities are more serious with this quarantine .

Hhhmm I'm here in Pakistan and people are just going about their business without going on about Corona Virus panic every day. Sometimes I think do we really need westerners projecting their fears, which are exacerbated by western media, in these otherwise quiet communities. Why do they need to know what you are panicking about? Stressing them out too, stress which only adds to making you more vulnerable to illness anyway.
