Maybe Tsaritsa chose to sign a contract with Zhongli instead of cut ties with him because she had reasons beyond just "he's the god of contract." Zhongli definitely is the odd one of the group, I'm pretty sure his more well-known oddities have already been covered many times by other theorists. So maybe in his current form, he is somehow "shackled," and when his divine duty ends, he will be "released." Tsaritsa is interested in getting this oddity on her side, so she accepted the deal. Remember the book that talks about Morax shape-shifting? It implies Morax has a true form, yet nobody knows what the true form looks like aside from bright amber eyes.

4:09 Zhongli's references to all these analogies made me immediately link the cryo archon (ice) with being "frozen in time". I mean, the act is called an "Everwinter" implies eternal frost. Her enitre character by far revolves around her being inert by the past of her deceased lover. Perhaps her goals come to retaining things of importance (eg. taking the gnosis'), and heck, i may even say to freeze teyvat by a means to thwart celestia, and these so called "samsaras" teyvat has gone through. The imagery in 5:08 is also quite interesting with the palace freezing

One thing I'm surprised by is, the Tsaritsa never once bothered to try and capture the Traveler and recruit them into the Fatui. I mean, I'm sure they've heard of their feats by now, and I'm sure that by Pierro having had known the Abyss Twin for a long time could tell the Traveler some valuable information as leverage for joining the Fatui. We can even see as the game progresses that the Traveler is getting tired and very sick of having to save nation after nation, npc after npc. I dunno, if I was her, I'd definitely at least try. Since him not being from this world, and therefore not being able to be affected by Irminsul's changes could prove extremely useful somewhere down the line. Maybe something happens in Natlan, like Capitano kicks our ass and orders us to be taken away or whatever. But just a thought.

I think I might actually have a pretty solid theory on what her current ideal is- I believe she's the God Of Destruction. The Gemstones that all have the Archons quotes all take their names from Hindu/Vedic gods who all have some level of connection to the Seven. The Tsartisa's gemstone is named after Shiva, the Hindu God Of Destruction who is said to destroy the world at the end of samsara to pave the way for a new one. This fits in directly with her gemstone quote, which talks about burning away the old world. As a bonus point, Shiva literally spends all his time on an ice mountain.

The point isn't that the Tsartisa's worse than Celestia- but rather, she bears the responsibility for a lot of heinous crimes. Most of which don't seem like they even help her in the long run. A rebel can rebel against a tyrant, but still be villainous if their methods are too extreme, or if the damage they cause to unrelated parties is incredibly severe. This doesn't make the tyrant better, but the rebel can't also be called good either.

​@@THExJMC In the latter half of the video he's joking on that part- but in the former, he seems to put some weight into the accusation so I'll take a shot at tackling it. With Celestia VS the Fatui, while the scope & severity of Celestia's actions are ultimately worse, a lot of the Fatui(particularly its more powerful members) share the same callous disregard for life the gods of Celestia do. The Inazuman Civil War and the Sumeru Archon Quest are the perfect examples of this. In the former, the Fatui for years prior basically turned Inazuma into playing ground and basically pitted the forces of Watatsumi and Narukami against each other, fully willing to commit atrocities on either side, all for 'maybe in a few years get the Electro Gnosis.' And Sumeru was literally a Harbinger deciding an experiment was more important than a nation, going against the Tsaritsa and starting an experiment without permission. And that's not even counting all the cases of kidnapping and torture they're likely responsible for. Celestia, while also really bad, almost never acts unless provoked into doing so. Their response is always excessive, but they don't bother toying around with mortals after the sentence has been cast. The Fatui empowers individuals to be problematic for regular people on a daily basis, and they often are. Celestia meanwhile, as an entity is something most people will never seen in action their entire lives. Not saying Celestia is good, but considering the Fatui to be worse is understandable, all things considered.

The sovereigns owned the world so its natural they found this unagreeable, and decided to fight for it and lost. 2. We dont know how much od the old world is “dead”. Before sun and moon jus states the primordial one “vanquished” the sovereigns, the only one we know for a fact died was nibelung. but others like apep, (and prolly the hydro sovereign also lived) 3. all we know about the archon war right now is one day seven divine thrones opened up in celestia and thus all the gods fought over who could claim them. From what we know right now the thrones seem necessary to prevent the old world from rising and crushing the new world. As such it makes sense only the strongest be allowed to hold this type of power as it bears great responsibility. so barring all the gods having a civil debate with one another over who gets the seats a war seemed inevitable. however i will concede was a but barbaric, but again. its not like celestia just wanted to see the gods fight for fun. 4. Khaenriah was in way over their head with the powers they were messing with. our current understanding is that they were the primary reason for the cataclsym that affected all the nations of teyvat, and left several gods dead. 5. Celestia cursing all the people of khaenriah is a form of punishment known as exemplary punishment. a punishment so severe its meant to deter others from commiting the same acts as the offender.

I don't think we can come up with a good theory about the Cryo Archon just yet. There are still many pre-established pieces of the story missing, and we haven't even met some of the more important characters either. Like for example, to what extent does her control reach over the Fatui? How much does she know about their actions? We don't know about her background or personality either. Although even with all of this, I still don't think she is a good person, and thats a very nice way of putting it :D

The Tsaritsa would welcome neuvillette to punish her for all the crimes she and the fatui has committed once her plan succeeds.

Nah, we're 100% have a repeat of the Ei situation. Remember in 1.6 when Kazuha told us the story of his friend? Everyone was on the "Raiden Shogun is pure evil" train XD. Now the community is split. Hystory WILL repeat itself when we get to Snezhnaya and the Tsaritsa will become playable. Btw, Dottore will die 100% because after Snezhnaya we will most likely become friends with the Tsaritsa and some of the playable Harbingers and most likely work together with the Fatui, and Hoyo knows having Dottore alive will make the players mad so they will most likely kill him off at some point XD.

From what i know no one in teyvat is strong enough to fight the heavenly principles,shades, ect but the third desender was able to fight the primordial one they ended up losing but they still fought them so like what if shes gonna revive the third desender and work with them to overthrow celesita all the gnosis are made from regiments from the the third desender so she gathers them all and does like a ritual to revive them? It's true that fatui has committed many crimes, but I think we've got the wrong villain. celestia is 1,000 times worse than fatui, celestia if we consider that Enkanomiya and Kahenriah had many inhabitants I'm sure that the divine order and Celestia must be considered as the real villain and we mustn't forget the order of the abime which despite having the traveler's brother is an enemy to the traveler (I hate the traveler's brother) and that aether doesn't care about how Lumine feels about the inhabitants of Teyvat. You might not read this but i think the main problem with they Fatui and the Tsaritsa seem to stem from the inconsistent writing. I think Hoyo don't really know whether they want them to be these evil antogonists with slight bit of nuance that we have to defeat to protect, almost always pure white in terms of morallity, playable characters from other regions that do bad only with a very good reason or an actually complex, morally grey organisation that includes good and bad people, an organisation that actually has a goal in mind that when achieved will bring peace to the land of teyvat or whatever goal for the betterment of situation in teyvat they may have. It seems that most of the time they want them to be the former but then Hoyo are like: "Oh sh*t, Fatui are way too comically evil. We have to add some nuance and goodness here and there and hope that this pitch dark mess that we created will be at least somewhat close to grey". It seems that the quality of writing has been getting better since inazuma where Fatui were really evil without a justifiable reason. We have started seeing characters from other regions doing some hienous sh*t like Azar or those nobles from Fontaine selling children. Some fatui npc have been getting presented to us as victims of the circumstances. When it comes to Arlechinno they didn't make her completely evil and tried to make her actually seem morally grey with hint of complete intolerance when it comes to betrayal. And Childe actually was saving a nation from drowning this time in Fontaine by fighting a whale that is dangerous for the people. Did these hints of nuance help the current situation with the Fatui? In my opinion they didn't but they are trying to do something else with them, at least. I know that Snezhnaya arc will be very important and it is going to be very easy for the writers to f*ck it up. And if this happens i can see some people losing interest in genshin(people like me). I don't know what they will do with the Tsaritsa as long as she isn't magically absolved of her responsibility for the things that Fatui have done I'll be fine. Like i don't want her to be betrayed by, idk, Pierro so that she could be this uwu victim waifu and whatever Fatui have been doing for 500 years was actually his fault. Because this is just going to be so lame and she will be way too similar to Ei. But her being responsible for so much sh*t isn't going to help Hoyo if they want to make her playable. And i think there are a lot of people that want Tsaritsa to be playable and not making her playable will just be a loss of money for Hoyoverse. Personally, as long as they don't f*ck up writing her, i can take her even dying at the end and not being playable (Which i think will be in character for her. For example, she can sacrifice herself for her goal or commit suicide because once everything is said and done she will not be able to live with herself. Latter can also work as one of the reasons for doing the former). There are some other ideas as how they can still make it not lame and she will still be alive and playable, but it will require a lot of work from the writers and i don't know if they will be willing to do it or will manage to do it. Welp, i guess that is it. Sorry for all the rambling and grammar mistakes.

The worse deeds of the archons so far. ( Im not hate the archons i just analizing them). Ei worse deed was her aprovation for the vision decret. Focalors worse deed was using furina for 500 years. Murata (pyro archon) worse deed probably be the endless war on her nation. Tsaritsa worse deed was recruiting dottore.( Unlike the other harbingers for now , he's pure evil). If we want to determine whats up with EI exactly, we first have to understand her character. If we look at the more important parts of her life, along with the people close to her, its quite obvious whats up with her. Just look at what she did to Scaramouche, her own creation. She completely abandoned him, because she thought its not her right to intervene with his fate. Thats irresponsibility, and immaturity. She didn't understand that he would need a mentor figure, and just let him go. Truth is, Ei is not a very wise person, unlike her closest friend Yae Miko, or even more, Makoto. She is hot-headed, doesn't understand relationships and human nature, and has many other flaws. This theme follows through her story quests as well (even Miko tells it to her face), she still has a lot to learn, and accepts this fact. She spent a lot of time mastering combat, but she is lacking in most other areas. And these flaws are what led her up to her decisions, she was just not ready to become an Archon, the events just turned out that way. This isn't an excuse for her irresponsible actions, but these events were kind of unavoidable, simply by the nature of her situation :D

Regardiging the initial assesment of ei, I believe both can be true. She can be misunderstood and have been a tyrant to her people at the same time. Despite having different intentions, results actually do matter. Think if a president or prime minister IRL would have done all these things that lead to civil war with the intent ot "saving" their people, they would very much go down in history as a tyrant.
