Mary-Ann Guillotin, also referred to simply as Ann, is a quest-exclusive NPC who first appears in the World Quest Mary-Ann's Story in Series Ann of the Narzissenkreuz: Act III - "If She No Longer Dreams of You..." In it, she is revealed to be the lingering, posthumous consciousness of the original Mary-Ann, who accidentally created Ann, a young Oceanid with parts of her memories and dreams. Its hilarious how both Childe and Scaramouche kind of shit on Arlecchino and tell you not to trust her, that she'd betray the tsaritsa herself to get what she wants. We meet Arlecchino and shes probably the nicest and least hostile harbinger so far. Intimidating for sure but her self interests she acts on literally revolve around her children and saving the entirety of Fontaine. Even then she takes the gnosis to the Tsaritsa as promised. Doing all of this without having to raise a finger except when she almost did when she almost attacked Furina for it before realizing it was absent. Then she just left. Yeah i think like many harbingers the boytoy crew are just jealous of her higher rank while doing little physically because shes that badbitch that fights when she needs. Not when she wants.

well, arlecchino was only nice to the traveler because the traveler wasn't in her way. if she saw the traveler as a problem, i think her hostility would be a whole different story either way, i also feel like there's a discrepancy between what scara and childe have said about her and the way she acted in fontaine. maybe we'll see more of her later down the line that clears it up. or maybe everyone just hates each other, which seems pretty plausible, so anyone's description of another harbinger will have their personal bias included

I think she is nice and badass as well. I think she likes traveler because she thinks traveler is a kid and she is nice to kids, for examble Lyney, lynnete and Freminet (probably i wrote their names wrong and im sorry for that) she is kind but serieous when its needed. But she is kind to kids. So, i dont know tho if she was the one that cuted and tortured the guy that tried to kill us, its a small quest with a melusine and a robot, about a mystery and the *spoiler* the robot (forgot its name and im really sorry bc i even cryed at the end of its story) sacrifices itself to save us and anyway this guy that tryed to kill us (traveler and melusine and the robot) had being found days later in the Fontain police team and they said that he couldnt talk because there was no tongue in his mouth, and he was trebling like he had a really bad trauma (he got tortured i guess) and in his mouth was a letter that i forgot what was saying but i think it was a resume of the events that he did and that he tried to kills us....now i thought it would be Capitan that did that but Capitan does not know us yet and as for Childe he is out cold (not dead) and back to Sneznaya (i think he is there and not still on Abyss or whatever he is now with his teacher Skirk), so last money are on Knave (Arleccino....).... What do you think? I just thought to say it and get a help on this bc im confused lol

I tried to get Furina, i lost 50/50 to Tighnary, im not complaying, i think he is the first 5 star that i have him at constalation 4 or 5 😂😅. But now im at 74 pulls so im not sure i will get her and im gonna save from now on for Capitan...if they make him playable ofcourse, but still im gonna save. Ok, i will try for Furina until her last day but if i see i could get her then damn im keeping for Capitan. Why im saying this? Its bc Capitan is one of the characters that im qurius to learn his story and looks fun to have too. And i agree with you too for him. It's so interesting and frightening to think about her true potential story and influence in the current time, because eventually all 11 of them will have their parts to play. For her to be the original Seelie who fell in love with the outlander is a testament to that.

That could indicate that she feels comfortable around death (like you would think the shade of death would) and when we look at the other few scenes where we saw her she looks also very careless/desinterested… That could mean that she does not care about the position that she has under the harbingers… Why could that be? Maybe she only wants to be near dying/cursed people? Or she has a „mission“ that requires her to be near the harbingers? Maybe it sounds pretty weird but as you said… both Childe and Wanderer warn us about her and we know that every Harbinger has their own interested/goals… Like Arlecchino… Arlecchino would turn against the Harbingers in the blink of an eye… Maybe the same goes for Columbina? For now she holds still but when every character that we know (that knows Columbina) warnt us about her… What could happen when Columbina makes her first moves and that for her own goals? She could become a huge threat for everyone…

I remember after reading the Managa, Dottore was the Harbinger had my eye out, mostly because of all the terrible things he did Collei and so many other children. Then came Columbina who despite being a lower rank than Dottore, actually pokes fun at him at the end of the meeting on equal grounds. What really got me interested was Childe and Scara/Wanderer's observations on her, especially the latter's. At the time of 3.3, I considered Wanderer and the Traveler as comparable, so when Wanderer said he could at least engage in a fight with her but the Traveler couldn't do that due to their conscious, that caught my attention.

I think once you get to #3 and higher, things probably become a lot more complex. Then not to mention we have the tsaritsa who rules them all (maybe?) This and I think it becomes exponentially less clear who is really pulling the strings, who will have the last laugh, and/or who is the most powerful.

In regards to the capitano lore explaining how could the blood stained knight be capitano if he joined the abyss, the fatui are the only main group of people that we know that is trying to over throw celestia. ASWELL capitano for his real life counter part is said to be a bragger like he lies about things. Capitano lied his way into the fatui ranks until he got to the number 1 spot with the help of his already amazing fighting skills in hope that he could finally get revenge for what celestia did to kaneria.

While it’s an entertaining thought, the Dragon King Nibelung was a sovereign, and the dragon sovereigns are stronger than the gods at full power. Even without his full strength, he would atleast be in the top 3 of the harbinger ranks, seeing as he’s not, I would have to question the validity of your theory. He’s not even No* 4 which puts this theory under further questioning.

Whether Pierro is the 1st seat or the director, essentially seat 0, but your theory makes a little more sense to me know, so I am inclined to agree. The fact that the present Arlecchino “inherited” the title makes me wonder if all other harbingers inherented there titles everytime the old holder pass or leave for “reasons.” I mean if you notice how things are in the Harbingers most of them hold government positions that can be inherited through voting. Like mayor or head of finance. Could that also mean all higher diplomats that hold government control over a certain group earn a harbinger title?

The only harbinger I'm waiting for is Columbina, I have so many theories on her, and plenty of head-cannons but alas I've still got wait for the best character and harbinger to show up. I'd like to note that she is known as the "The Damselette" Her character was made to be portrayed as a damsel but its basically as the saying goes, a wolf in sheep clothing. I swear ong that she's going to be some Angelic type being, thus the dove like feathers. Also in the commedia dell'arte, Columbina or "the little dove" was known to be very intelligent and manipulative to achieve a high status however she also thought to be strong like an acrobat. She was a self self-educated woman, and she is emotionally literate too, quite capable of listening to others and emphasizing with their emotions. She has a lot of potential for her character and backstory which I'm anticipating. I also know she will definably have a lot of influence story wise and i think she'll probably play an important role. The chance that she might be seelie is there but she could also be instead one of the four shades, to specify the shade of death. But if she were i think it would quite insulting to put her as only number 3 BUT knowing this Perhaps being "the shade of death" in a different picture. At La Signora's funeral she seemed rather comfortable or familiar with death in a way. So instead of violent tendencies Is more of the aftertaste of death. More like the leading voice to death, the final "push" you need. Somewhat like a siren. Not to sure if you know what i mean by that. To add another thing She is defiantly some sort of angelic being but angels are always painted as innocent being or saints that do no wrong. If you know the story of Lucifer you would know he was once gods favorite angel until he rebelled against his power. So if columbina were to be one of the shades more likely the shade of death i feel like to could be in the same case scenario. Then again something would've HAD to have happen knowing she's only ranked number 3 but sense he barely know anything we can only speculate. I'd also like to point out why she would represent an angel more specifically a seraph. Most people would think to trust angels as most people treat them as guiding lights to the afterlife or messengers of god right? SO gotta hear me out. Columbina is presented as a Damselette hence her title, As if most people would fall for her helpless and innocent. THEN AGAIN if they saw an angel, who wouldn't trust her? It's been stated that under the adventure artifact set "He saw a girl so beautiful"--"Her apprerance was surreal, with a cluster of feathers adorning her hair" Angels are mostly seen to thought of as beautiful in a way or rather 'surreal.' It was also said that the devil could be beautiful if you know where I'm going with this. IF scaramouche and Childe were to warn us about Columbina because of her strength why not the higher ranking harbingers too. It's almost as if she gives off a 'deadly' aura If you know what i mean. I'd like to note from earlier i mentioned how she looks like a seraph angel. If you don't know already genshin has a tendency to go off of Nazism and a lot of other real world religions lore wise. Seraph is sometimes in Tradition places seraphim in the highest rank in Christian angelology and in the fifth rank of ten in the Jewish angelic hierarchy. I have so much more i want to say here but I feel like i've already said a lot so far... Otherwise she has so much potential hoyo better not do her dirty. Im just really excited to see how they are going to introduce her as I like to think the off putting or crazed nature she gave off to scaramouche and Childe was because of her dangerous admitting aura revealing a second nature. If she a type of angelic being i will throw hands because she better be like crazy powerful or something not to mention how the presented her so far. One final thing is Im gonna be dropping thousands on genshin just to pull for her when her banner drops because when i first saw her i was like "I have found my new favorite character." With all the archons recently not giving a fuck about gnoses and this being the harbingers main goal, it gives me the idea that the archons are somewhat agreeing to the tsaritsa however, being mortals they dont truly understand what the tsaritsa's ultimate goal is. I would assume that most of the harbingers would want to achieve godhood. In the end i would say that the tsaritsa supports humanity with machiavellian ideals. Whats left to discuss is their dealings with the abyss but i dont see it too farfetched for pierro to betray the tsaritsa for the sake of the abyss since pierro was once a khanreian sage. I do have a hunch though, that Varka's expedition is in fact about the study of khanreia and he is doing this with the support of the tsaritsa. And with all the recent archons having doubles to hide their main goals from celestia, i would say thats the case with the tsaritsa as well. One thing to keep in mind is that, at Venti's archon quest, when Paimon was maligning the fatui's action, Venti somewhat hinted that "people" are misunderstanding the tsaritsa. And barbatos and the cryo archon was once best friends. Then again, raiden must have been more ruthless of an archon than the tsaritsa.
