I own hundreds of board & card games, and the DC-DBG is still to this day my favourite game of all time. I will happily play this anywhere, anytime. You could wake me up at 2am and I'd be like "yo, deal me two Personas, who did I get?!"

This is still my favorite game in my collection! I have the base game and Teen Titans and I ordered the reprint of heroes unite because I couldn’t find it anywhere. I by far prefer to play with the base game and Titans mixed together. My favorite game mode is in 1v1 to take turns drafting all the superheroes from both sets and then order them in a stack however you want, you then play as the top hero but when the supervillain attacks if you don’t have a defensive card you have to put your top hero on the bottom of your hero deck and play with the next hero. It adds another dimension to the game as some heroes are stronger early and some later, also some heroes complement each other better than others.

That's interesting! Having characters like Super Heroes and Villains def adds a pretty big variable that makes for a lot of interesting ideas!

You guys got me interested in this board game a couple months ago. It's awesome and I already grabbed a couple crossover packs. I'm intrigued by the legion crossover mechanic of time travel. I look forward to new videos.

DC deck building!! Great video guys. The game is definitely worth it. I got my wife, brother and two friends into this game, with my wife being the surprising one. One of my friends and I are currently helping each other out with finding and buying whatever we can to both have complete sets. Super excited for the kickstarter, wife is getting me the ultimate bundle for Father’s Day. Definitely my go too game has me scratching to play whenever I can!

@@hobbiesnhappiness oh definitely that’s the same exact thing I thought of! I do solo the solo variant a lot as well whenever I find time. The game is extremely fun with and without company.

The availability is a concern. However, these re-releases show that this is the best time to get your collection going. I'm a new player, I've known the game for the past 10 years, but when I was living back in Brazil that made it almost impossible to get. This time around, new continent, new life, I went full dive with this Kickstarter and got the ultimate bundle, right afterwards I got both latest Collections, however Rivals 1 (only available in French) and 2 I could not find a way to purchase yet, but Rivals 1 apparently will be reprinted this month. On the other hand, Tabletop Simulator (videogame) is another great way to learn the game and try out the rarer expansions (Teen Titans Go for example). All that led me to find your channel! It's a great time to be a DC fan and deck-builder player. P.S. I don't think they'll re-release Rebirth, the Kickstarter pools proved that a massive number of fans dislike that one. As for myself, I love the idea of co-op and can't wait to start playing Crisis and some variants like Rogues (the Victory Points as a resource is a very interesting rule), but Injustice and the charge meter seem to be quite fun.

All good points! Def. agree that now seems to be a really great for new players to get into this game. Didn't even talk about Teen Titans GO! Honestly totally forgot about it 🤣 But def should be mentioned as well alongside the others for sure!

Forever Evil and Metal are for sure my favorites. The Rick and Morty deck builder by cryptozoic was my first one though.. and I fell in love once I leaned how to play. It was my first deck builder game.

You failed to mention the Multiverse mode that the Multiverse box introduces. That is also a very fun and different mode that allows you to play with multiple heroes.

The vanilla experience is still my fave, base set, Heroes Unite and crossover pack 1 is all I need. I don't know of any other game where non gamers can understand the concept and learn the rules in less than ten minutes, so many of my non gamer friends love DC Deck Building!

Speaking of the Kickstarter long time Cerberus Engine fans might remember they made a Street Fighter deck-building game. Seems they took what they learned from that and applied their knowledge to Injustice, so I'm looking forward to that. I haven't played it much, but I seem to recall Street Fighter felt a little lacking, so hopefully the additions they've made will give it that extra something it was missing.

Worth it. I’ve played it since it came out with my brother and since then I’ve taught over 100 people how to play from 12 years old to 50 years old. The last 4-5 years we have used the tier system for heroes and added cards from all the sets

I 1000% agree its worth is still in 2022. My favorite set has to be the Dark Knights Metal set. The way weaknesses are used in that set make them so much more relevant. But i think my favorite way to play is Crisis mode. When my group plays Crisis we usually have 4 to 5 players and it makes for a huge difficulty spike at 5 players. Have you guys had the chance to try Crisis with more then 2 players? For each player added it adds another layer of fun and frustration to the game.

yeah thats sad , i would love to see this with a german Version! Maybe with a Big Box for less effort and a good Corp. Partner for a Localization - this Game would be a success :D
