You are actually wrong about vertical mode. Since the sensor itself is 4:3 aspect ratio and 4k video is 16:9, when video cropped internally in the drone, it has more field of view (and maybe even quality), than it would have if you would have cropped it from 4k.

Very bad review of update, only unartistic dummies like vertical video, best update will come with the ability to adjust exposure using phone.
